Calvary Chapel to forfeit football game to Agassi Prep

Calvary Chapel will forfeit its Friday football game to Agassi Prep, Calvary Chapel athletic director Martha O’Kelley confirmed Tuesday.

The Lions have lost four players to injury, including two to concussions, in the first two weeks of the season. Calvary Chapel began the year with just 16 players on the roster, including four freshmen.

Calvary Chapel’s game Friday, Sept. 4, against The Meadows was stopped in the third quarter with the Mustangs leading 46-0.

Through two games, the Lions have been outscored 88-0.
