Beaulieu’s first-quarter scores lead Panthers over Crusaders

Palo Verde's Ryan Beaulieu rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns in the first quarter, sparking the second-ranked Panthers (8-0, 6-0 Northwest) to a 68-26 road victory over Faith Lutheran (4-4, 2-4) on Friday.
Beaulieu scored on runs of 20, 43, and 45 yards, helping Palo Verde to a 53-7 halftime lead. In the fourth quarter, the Panthers got interception return TDs by Dillon Chaisson (54 yards) and Donald Anderson (50).
For Faith Lutheran, Joe Portaro passed for 308 yards and four touchdowns. Don Pearson caught scoring passes of 15, 3 and 12 yards.
