Outlook: The Vikings only won four games last season, but it was the most wins they’d had since 2011 and matched their win total for the previous four seasons.

Now they move down to Class 3A, which should help the team be more competitive.

Jones had an impact all over on offense last season, throwing four TD passes, rushing for a team-high 545 yards and three scores to go along with 87 receiving yards and another TD. He was a second-team All-Northeast League pick at running back.

The loss of Brewington, who recorded 14 sacks, will be a blow to the defense. But Ramirez is back after posting 62 tackles last season, and Jarrett picked off three passes, returning two for touchdowns.

“(We are) a young team looking to play fast, be very competitive and host a playoff game at Valley,” Burts said.
