Outlook: The Bulldogs struggled in Forshee’s first season, but closed the year on a high note with a 52-30 win over Palo Verde.
Forshee said the defense should be improved after allowing an average of 32.9 points.
Pili-Eskeets should lead the way on that side of the ball after recording 53 tackles and an interception last fall.
Garrett (34 tackles, 2 interceptions) and Walden (3 interceptions) should lead the secondary.
Smith rushed for 459 yards and four TDs as a sophomore and should lead the way offensively.
“(We are) inexperienced at the offensive line and quarterback positions,” Forshee said. “We return an explosive running back who is only a junior. Strengths will be at the skill positions.”
