Outlook: The Muckers don’t bring back any seniors, but they have group of underclassmen ripe with talent, and ready to contribute.

Tonopah was in the middle of the Class 1A pack last season and could struggle this season with its youth, but coach Otteson is optimistic about his team’s fortunes after a strong summer.

“They put a lot of work in the summer,” Otteson said. “We will work hard to be in the playoffs again.”
