Outlook: The Chargers struggled in their first season back at the Class 4A level, going winless in league play.
Pickens takes over, and hopes to turn things around quickly.
“If we compete, definitely we’ll make a playoff run,” Pickens said. “If we play Clark of old, we’ll have the same results. But we definitely have the talent to make a playoff run.”
Morris is back after rushing for 333 yards and three TDs while averaging 7.2 yards per carry.
Bigby will move from quarterback to receiver.
Pickens hopes to take advantage of the team’s speed and senior leadership.
