Outlook: The Bulldogs will lean on an experienced offensive line as they try to make a run for the playoffs.

Virgin Valley will have five senior starters on the offensive line in tackles Jairo Vallejos and Mikian Musser, guards Jaden Hollingshead and Merlin Hafen, and center Garret Hafen.

That experience could help make up for lack of experience among skill players, especially in the running game, where the team must replace leading rusher Paongo.

When the Bulldogs were good last season, they were very good, scoring 40 or more points in three of four wins. When they were bad, well, they were bad. They scored seven points or fewer in four of the five losses and allowed 40 or more three times.

"We should have a solid football team," Ludvigson said. "Our region is loaded with Desert Pines, Moapa Valley, Chaparral, etc. I think we have a chance to be in the mix."
