Outlook: Mountain View has turned itself into one of the top Division III football programs in the last few years by reaching the state title game in three out of the last four seasons.

The Saints lost the majority of their offense to graduation, including the standout backfield of Matthew Larson and Jacob Duldulao, who combined to run for nearly 2,000 yards and 23 touchdowns. Larson was the Player of the Year in the division.

Ian Locke returns as signal caller after he was selected first-team all-league. The dual-threat quarterback passed for 1,103 yards and 12 touchdowns and added 983 yards and 14 TDs on the ground last season.

He will get help from his top two offensive weapons, Bernard Williams (350 yards rushing) and Connor LeBoeuf (149 yards receiving).

Mountain View will look to make its eighth playoff appearance in a row, and capture its third consecutive league championship.

“(We will be) building a team around the experience of QB Ian Locke and OL A.J. Kim on offense,” coach Raymond LeBoeuf said. “Defensively, Adam Stacey returns as the anchor and Bernard Williams and Connor LeBoeuf will bring experience back on both sides of the ball.”
