FLAG FOOTBALL: McArthur has hand in five TDs to lift Falcons by Cheyenne
Jadyn McArthur tossed three touchdown passes and ran for two scores Wednesday to lift Foothill's flag football team to a 32-6 win over visiting Cheyenne.
McArthur completed 20 of 27 passes for 178 yards, including two touchdown passes to Emily Russell and one to Cerina Troyano. McArthur also rushed for 112 yards on 13 carries.
Russell caught 11 passes for 100 yards for the Falcons.
Eldorado 25, Spring Valley 20 — At Spring Valley, MohnAi Roberson scored three rushing touchdowns to lift the Sundevils over the Grizzlies.
Michaela Hood tossed two TDs, and Madison Macove passed for 160 yards and a score to lead Spring Valley. Mariah Ward, Sala Mamaia, and Doris Guitierrez-Hoyos each caught a TD pass for the Grizzlies.
Desert Oasis 40, Mojave 6 — At Desert Oasis, Kylee Bauer had a hand in four touchdowns to lead the Diamondbacks over the Rattlers.
Bauer completed 14 of 19 passes for 273 yards, including a 34-yard TD pass to Aniyah Reed and a 40-yard scoring strike to Lisia Wolfgram.
Bauer also had TD runs of 3 and 20 yards.
Izriah Hodson rushed for 71 yards and two TDs on 13 carries for Desert Oasis. Wolfgram caught five passes for 129 yards, and the Diamondbacks intercepted four passes.
Green Valley 27, Canyon Springs 12 — At Canyon Springs, quarterback Bella Cipili threw two touchdown passes as the Gators topped the Pioneers.
Carolina Velasquez and Alyssa Herrera each caught a TD pass, and teammate Samantha Loving supplied 59 rushing yards and a score for Green Valley, which led 21-12 at the half. Alyssa Hildreth returned an interception 31 yards for a touchdown for Green Valley.
Canyon Springs' Alyviah Brouchet rushed for 240 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries, and teammate Yareli Trujillo had a TD run.
Centennial 27, Palo Verde 20 — At Centennial, Ashley Marshall rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries to lift the Bulldogs over the Panthers.
Marshall scored on runs of 10 and 4 yards for Centennial, which also got TD runs from Halli Erickson and Aliyah Wyrick.
Legacy 24, Valley 18 — At Legacy, Nicole White tossed three touchdown passes to help the Longhorns top the Vikings.
Mia Samuels caught scoring strikes of 15 and 14 yards, and Akia Wiliams hauled in a 17-yard TD pass for Legacy.
Traonna Hamblet rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and Williams had 114 yards on 10 carries for the Longhorns.
Sierra Vista 32, Cimarron-Memorial 27 — At Sierra Vista, Courtney O'Neal rushed for 172 yards on 15 carries to help the Mountain Lions top the Spartans.
Coronado 14, Silverado 0 — At Coronado, Alexandrea Hondo ran for a score, and Jodi Allen tossed a TD pass to Trinity Rhoades to help the Cougars blank the Skyhawks.
Arbor View 28, Clark 13 — At Clark, the Aggies defeated the Chargers.
Jasmine Brooks had TD runs of 60 and 3 yards for Clark.
Las Vegas 24, Rancho 13 — At Rancho, the Wildcats pulled away from a 6-6 halftime tie to top the Rams.
Liberty 28, Western 0 — At Western, the Patriots blanked the Warriors.
