FLAG FOOTBALL: DeCunzo catches four TD passes, Grizzlies blow by Trailblazers

Jozee DeCunzo caught four touchdown passes Tuesday to lead Spring Valley’s flag football team to a 40-6 win over visiting Durango.

Amberlynn Twigg ran for two scores and tossed two of the TD passes to DeCunzo, who finished with 139 receiving yards. Raven Bierlein also threw two TD passes for the Grizzlies.

Amanda Maloney had a rushing touchdown for Durango.

Silverado 26, Canyon Springs 7 — At Canyon Springs, the Skyhawks rallied from a 7-6 halftime deficit to top the Pioneers.

Canyon Springs’ Tea Rivera completed 7 of 19 passes for 84 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown pass to Yareli Trujillo.

Palo Verde 33, Moapa Valley 0 — At Palo Verde, Daniesha Clayton rushed for three touchdowns, and Caitlyn Oxford threw a TD pass to Morgan Myers to help the Panthers blank the Pirates.

Rancho 21, Desert Pines 12 — At Rancho, Sharisse Nagatori rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Rams by the Jaguars.

Divyne Camberos ran for 110 yards and a touchdown for the Rams, who got 50 rushing yards from Siree Contreras.

Mariyah Espinoza carried 11 times for 110 yards and a touchdown to lead Desert Pines.

Las Vegas 12, Sunrise Mountain 6 — At Las Vegas, Kali Brockett tossed a touchdown pass to Danielle Ruesch, and Alica Nunez rushed for a score to lead the Wildcats by the Miners.

Valley 25, Green Valley 12 — At Valley, the Vikings topped the Gators.

Morgan Gibson completed 10 of 18 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown for Green Valley. Adelia Sigala caught the touchdown pass for Green Valley, which also got a rushing touchdown from Kimberly Banagan.

Arbor View 18, Sierra Vista 6 — At Sierra Vista, Haley Nibarger caught two touchdown passes and had two interceptions to lead the Aggies by the Mountain Lions.

Frankie D'Arienzo rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries for Arbor View.
