FLAG FOOTBALL: Centennial rallies for tournament title

Centennial rallied for 20 second-half points Saturday to defeat Foothill 26-7 in the Gold Bracket championship of the Lady Bulldog Invitational at Legacy.

Jadyn McArthur threw a touchdown pass to Emily Russell in the first half for Foothill, which led 7-6 at the break.

Foothill 33, Del Sol 0 — McArthur completed 24 of 35 passes for 207 yards and four touchdowns and added a rushing score as the Falcons routed the Dragons.

Sydney Babakitis had five catches for 80 yards and a touchdown for Foothill.

Foothill 12, Las Vegas 6 — McArthur completed 17 of 25 passes for 143 yards and a score as the Falcons edged the Wildcats.

Marissa Spatafore rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, and Russell had eight catches for 72 yards and a TD for Foothill.

Green Valley 19, Arbor View 12 — Bella Cipili threw for two touchdowns and ran for a score to lead the Gators by the Aggies in the fifth-place game.

Cipili completed 9 of 15 passes for 112 yards, tossing TD passes to Hennessey Elkins and Alyson Thorne.
