Cimarron tops Sierra Vista in flag football

Cimarron-Memorial’s Tiarra Del Rosario completed 21 of 29 passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns as the Spartans earned a 40-27 flag football victory over visiting Sierra Vista on Friday.
Del Rosario also rushed for a touchdown for Cimarron, which led 27-7 at the half.
Alyssa Karpinksi and Catherine Jovan each had a rushing touchdown, and Morgan Hemphill caught a TD pass for the Spartans.
Diona Whitley led the Cimarron defense with 10 tackles and a sack, and teammate Haylei Hughes had two interceptions.
