Coronado’s girls cross country team had the top four finishers on its way to winning a three-team meet at Sonata Park on Tuesday.
Coronado won with 16 points, followed by Basic (46) and Chaparral (84).
Kelly Smith won the 2.8-mile race in 19 minutes, 34.6 seconds, followed by teammates Sara Dort (19:39.1), Emma Czerwinski (19:52.9) and Logan Lucas (20:02.9).
Basic’s Erika Ocegura was fifth in 20:09.1.
Depth carries Gators to win
At Foothill, Green Valley placed four runners in the top seven to down Foothill and Boulder City.
The Gators posted a team score of 28. Foothill was second with 38, followed by Boulder City with 71.
The Eagles’ Jessica Tobler won the 2.5-mile race in 16:12.
Green Valley’s Lindy Eskin was second in 16:25, and Foothill’s Alyse Vanek took third in 16:35.
Skyhawks place five in top eight on way to victory
At Liberty, Silverado had five of the top eight finishers on its way to 30 points and a victory over Tech (35) and Liberty (73).
Tech’s Taylor Coss won the 2.5-mile race in 17:21, followed by teammate Lizbeth Aguilar in 18:10.
Liberty’s Kayla Herrera was third in 18:51.
Arbor View tops Centennial, Shadow Ridge
At Floyd Lamb Park, Arbor View had four of the top five finishers on its way to 23 points and a victory over Centennial (47) and Shadow Ridge (61).
Centennial’s Sydney Badger won the 2.9-mile race in 17:50.
Arbor View’s Andrea Gonzalez was second in 19:35, followed by teammates Amberly Halstead (19:44), Zanae Jones (19:45) and Kayla Landau (19:55).
Adams, Bengals top Western, Gorman
At Bonanza, Emily Adams won the 3.1-mile race in 22:31 to lead Bonanza to 19 points and a victory over Western (40) and Bishop Gorman (92).
Bonanza’s Carmen Tinoco was second in 23:51, and teammate Sianna Nelson took third in 24:37.
