Head coach: Frank DeSantis, second season

2012-13 record: 13-10 (7-7 Division III Southern, fifth)

Returning letter winners (starters): 10 (four)

Top players: G Melaney Mayes (Sr.), F Anjali Daulat (Sr.), G Bailey Gosse (Jr.), F Missy Siegel (Jr.)

Outlook: The Mustangs came close to qualifying for the postseason last year, falling in a play-in game for the Southern League’s final spot.

Daulat, Gosse and Mayes all have the potential to be big scorers and lead a list of 10 returning lettermen. Siegel is the team’s top returning rebounder.

“We’re trying to make the playoffs,” DeSantis said. “Experience is a key, and depth is a plus.”
