Head coach: Lindsay Whalen, 10th season

2012-13 record: 6-21 (3-7 Northwest, fourth)

Returning letter winners (starters): Four (one)

Top players: G Ashley Davidson (Sr.), F Kennedy Nieves (So.), G Kelsey Jimenez (Jr.)

Outlook: Nieves averaged seven points and seven rebounds per game last year and leads a list of returnees that isn’t blessed with a ton of varsity experience.

Jimenez (4.0 ppg) and Davidson (3.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 2.0 assists per game) will be among those asked to boost the offense.

“We’re a young team, but working hard,” Whalen said.
