ROUNDUP: Ybarra helps Boulder City girls down Coronado

Alyssa Ybarra had 24 points Friday, and Karlee Koopman added 10 points, seven rebounds and four blocks to lead Boulder City’s girls basketball team to a 66-54 home win over Coronado.

Mallory Bird supplied 11 points and five rebounds for Boulder City.

Aubre Fortner scored 17 points, Sofie Cruz had 14 points, and Dajah Washington added 12 points for Coronado.

Bishop Gorman 68, Mid-Pacific (Hawaii) 54 — At Honolulu, Ashlin Gross poured in 25 points, and the Gaels used a 22-7 fourth-quarter run to pull away from Mid-Pacific in the Iolani Classic.

April Rivers added 11 points for the Gaels, who trailed 37-30 at the half.

Sunrise Mountain 40, Agassi Prep 18 — At Sunrise Mountain, Tiara Veal scored eight points to help the Miners roll past the Stars.

Lisa Carter added seven points for Sunrise Mountain, and teammate Qua’tajah Macklin had six points.

The Miners, who finished with 16 steals, led 19-2 after one quarter and 33-4 at the half.

Lowry 46, Faith Lutheran 42 — At Spanish Springs, the Buckaroos led 37-24 after three quarters and held off a rally to defeat the Crusaders.

Betsy Guerrero scored 12 points, and Julia Duferrena and Madison Gonzalez each had 11 points to lead Lowry.

Sam Leonard scored 14 points to lead Faith Lutheran.

Indian Springs 64, Laughlin 35 — At Indian Springs, Alexxa Reinke posted 20 points and 13 rebounds to help the Thunderbirds roll past the Cougars.

Heather Thormahlen added 15 points and five assists for Indian Springs, which pulled away with a 28-12 second-quarter scoring advantage. Teammate Tessa Lounsbury had 13 points and five rebounds.

Destiny Anderson scored 14 points to lead the Cougars.

Pahranagat Valley 67, Calvary Chapel 33 — At Alamo, Halie Lewis racked up 21 points, eight rebounds, seven steals and five assists to lead the Panthers in a rout of the Lions.

Bailee Hosier had 16 points, eight assists and four steals, Kennedy Huntsman added 11 points ,and Kimberley Lewis pulled down 11 rebounds for Pahranagat Valley.

Phallen Nelson led Calvary Chapel with 10 points.

Fairmont Prep (Calif.) 39, Mountain View 29 — At Anaheim, Calif., Negin Taleb and Blaysen Varnadoe each scored 17 points to lead the Huskies past the Saints in the Fairmont Prep Tournament.

Briana Marruffo had eight points, nine rebounds, four steals and four assists to lead Mountain View, which was outscored 17-3 in the first quarter.

Beatty 25, The Meadows 23 — At The Meadows, Shanera Venezia and Melynda Gross scored seven points apiece to help the Hornets edge the Mustangs.

Missy Siegel led The Meadows with eight points.
