ROUNDUP: Wilson’s big second half helps Chaparral girls down Palo Verde

Unique Wilson scored 16 of her 24 points in the second half Monday to help Chaparral’s girls basketball team rally from a 24-22 halftime deficit and post a 58-43 win at Palo Verde.

Wilson also had 18 rebounds.

Marcia Hawkins added 15 points, 11 in the second half, for the Cowboys, who outscored the Panthers 13-4 in the third quarter to take control. Octavia Gray had six steals for Chaparral.

Ioana Ganeva led Palo Verde with 15 points.

Desert Oasis 61, Arbor View 41 — At Desert Oasis, Tatiana Kearn drained six 3-pointers and finished with 20 points to lead the Diamondbacks past the Aggies.

Sammi Tso scored 17 points, and Jaqueline Garcia added 10 points for Desert Oasis, which got 10 rebounds from Taryn Crawford.

Janae Strode paced Arbor View with 10 points.

Coronado 67, Boulder City 49 —
At Coronado, Sofie Cruz scored 26 points to lead the Cougars over the Eagles.

Ashley Johnson had 16 points, and Skylar Feldman added 11 points for Coronado.

Whitney Barlow scored 20 points, and Alyssa Ybarra had 15 points for Boulder City, which got 10 points from Mallory Bird.

Valley 39, Cheyenne 33 — At Valley, Kennedy Wharton had 23 points, 11 rebounds, seven steals and two blocked shots to lead the Vikings over the Desert Shields.

Gabby Cabanero scored 11 for Valley.

Lajuana Brown scored 10 points to pace Cheyenne.

Bonanza 39, Western 31 —
At Western, Tranee Jenkins scored 12 points, and the Bengals built a 22-13 halftime lead and held off the Warriors.

Saniah Simpson added 11 points, and Tanganika Hunt scored 10 for Bonanza.

Destiny Gonzalez led Western with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Cimarron-Memorial 44, Clark 34 —
At Cimarron, Ikia Daniels scored 16 points, and Chalon Henderson had six points and 12 rebounds as the Spartans rallied from a an 18-12 halftime deficit to down the Chargers.

Bobbi Floyd scored 17 points for Clark.
