ROUNDUP: Wakeen rallies Mountain Lion girls past Diamondbacks

Marley Wakeen poured in 20 points Thursday to help Sierra Vista’s girls basketball team erase a six-point fourth-quarter deficit and top host Desert Oasis, 73-64.
Jeanette Jackson finished with 17 points, including eight free throws in the final quarter. Jasmine Suarez and A’Yanna Johnson each added 12 points for the Mountain Lions, who finished the game on an 11-2 run.
Tatiana Kearn had 16 points to lead Desert Oasis, which got 14 points from Ralena Phillips and 12 points apiece from Sammi Tso and Auburn Smith.
Liberty 60, Coronado 36 — At Liberty, Amanda Delgado had 15 points, four assists, three rebounds and three steals to help the Patriots cruise past the Cougars.
Jade Washington added 14 points, eight assists and five rebounds for Liberty, and teammate Alena Evans supplied 10 points and six rebounds.
Amanda Decker led Coronado with 14 points.
Green Valley 57, Foothill 54 — At Green Valley, Mackenzie Butler had 22 points and five rebounds as the Gators held off the Falcons.
Angelica Mack added 16 points and 14 rebounds, and Shavon Stevens contributed 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists for Green Valley.
Cheryl Harless scored 21 points, and Julie Harless added 12 points for Foothill.
Silverado 85, Basic 48 — At Silverado, Natalie Lainhart had 23 points, and Tae’lor Monroe scored 18 as the Skyhawks drubbed the Wolves.
Jessica Meyers supplied 13 points and Brittany Loguidice added 12 for Silverado.
Kailai Brantner scored 23 points to lead Basic.
Tech 56, Del Sol 53 — At Del Sol, Adriana Heredia scored 16 points to help the Roadrunners hang on to beat the Dragons.
Mesha Phillips and Kristina Wilson each added 13 points for Tech, which led 33-25 at halftime.
Kim Chischillie scored 14 points for Del Sol, which rallied when the Roadrunners got into foul trouble in the fourth quarter.
Canyon Springs 65, Desert Pines 35 — At Canyon Springs, Kenosha Wright racked up 19 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Pioneers to an easy victory over the Jaguars.
Diamond Broadus added 11 points for Canyon Springs, which jumped out to a 34-16 lead at halftime.
TaQuiyyah Boyles scored 10 points to pace Desert Pines.
Las Vegas 57, Eldorado 39 — At Eldorado, Shauntovia Luckie totaled 17 points to help the Wildcats rout the Sundevils.
Natresha Bernard added 11 points for Las Vegas, and Matti Ventling scored 10.
Casey Bradshaw led Eldorado with 11 points.
Chaparral 55, Sunrise Mountain 41 — At Sunrise Mountain, Jacquie Ferguson scored 22 points to lead the Cowboys past the Miners.
Tichina Savoy added 10 points for Chaparral.
Tiara Veal had 17 points to lead Sunrise Mountain.
Valley 59, Rancho 35 — At Rancho, Shayna Porter scored 17 points, and Brianna Johnson added 16 points, as the Vikings routed the Rams.
Estelle Wilson supplied 11 points for Valley.
Tyricia Payne scored 11 points for Rancho.
Boulder City 44, Aussie Travelers 42 — At Boulder City, Karlee Koopman made a layup with 12 seconds remaining to finish with 17 points as the Eagles edged the Aussie Travelers.
Mallory Bird added nine points for Boulder City.
Kathryn Quinn led the Aussie Travelers with 17 points, and teammate Jessica Cotheart added 13 points.
Aussie Travelers 42, The Meadows 22 — At The Meadows, Allie Bronstein had 11 points, 15 rebounds and three steals for the Mustangs, who fell behind early and never recovered.
