ROUNDUP: Thomas scores 20 to lift Mojave girls to road win over Cheyenne

Tashahni Thoms scored 20 points Monday to lead Mojave’s girls basketball team to a 63-59 road victory over Cheyenne.

Jazzmine Robinson added 17 points, and Jasmine Gardner had 11 points for the Rattlers, who outscored the Desert Shields, 23-13 in the third quarter to take a 47-43 lead.

Hannah Tatum led Cheyenne with 16 points.

Janae Brown and Britnee Shaw each supplied 10 points for the Desert Shields.

Chaparral 41, Eldorado 37 — At Eldorado, the Cowboys trailed by 10 with six minutes to play before rallying for the win.

Jacquie Ferguson scored 13 points for Chaparral, which outscored the Sundevils 21-7 in the fourth quarter.

Western 52, Clark 45 — At Clark, Naz Lockett had 25 points to lead the Warriors past the Chargers.

Brandi Jackson added 18 points for Western.

Jacqueline Garcia led Clark with 14 points. Angelena Cook scored 12 and Michelle Garcia 10 for the Chargers.

Cimarron-Memorial 66, Shadow Ridge 46 — At Shadow Ridge, Traci Parks scored 28 points as the Spartans cruised past the Mustangs.

Gerrisha McClodden scored 12 and Tyler Simpson 10 for Cimarron.

Destinee Moreno and Vianne Perez each had 10 points for Shadow Ridge.

Pahrump Valley 63, Spring Valley 35 — At Pahrump, Alyson Kunzi made 15 of 18 free throws on her way to 23 points as the Trojans downed the Grizzlies.

Taylor Ball added 16 points and Sara Williams 14 for Pahrump, which made 33 of 48 foul shots as a team.

Shauna Patterson had 18 points to lead Spring Valley, which was 1 of 5 from the free-throw line.

Rancho 50, Desert Pines 37 — At Rancho, Tyricia Payne scored 11 points to lead the Rams past the Jaguars.

Rancho outscored the Jaguars, 22-14 in the second half to take control.

Mariah Coleman had 10 points, and Kanisha Gray and Anneli Torres each scored eight points for the Rams.

Leslie White led Desert Pines with 10 points.

Palo Verde 53, Faith Lutheran 35 — At Faith Lutheran, Jasmin Kiley led a balanced attack with 11 points to help the Panthers down the Crusaders.

Alyssa Amoruso and Dominique Bryant each scored 10 for Palo Verde.

Sam Leonard led Faith Lutheran with 13 points.

Sierra Vista 64, Bonanza 39 — At Sierra Vista, Marley Wakeen had 16 points to help the Mountain Lions cruise past the Bengals.

Jeanette Jackson added 13 points for Sierra Vista, which led 24-2 after one quarter.

Denetrius Martin had 23 points for Bonanza.

Bishop Gorman 74, Desert Oasis 34 — At Desert Oasis, Amber Lane and Diamond Majors each scored 13 points to lead the Gaels past the Diamondbacks.

Zhane Dikes and Megan Carter each added 12 points for Gorman, which led 41-15 at the half.

Tatiana Kearn paced the Diamondbacks with 10 points.

Centennial 69, Legacy 29 — At Centennial, Tamera Williams had 22 points, 10 rebounds and five steals, and the Bulldogs built a 37-18 halftime lead and cruised past the Longhorns.

Jada Brown added 13 points and 15 rebounds, and Ashley Klemz scored 10 for Centennial.

Justice Akins led Legacy with six points.

Valley 72, Sunrise Mountain 27 — At Valley, Christina Davis tallied 16 points and nine rebounds as the Vikings cruised past the Miners.

Shayna Porter added 14 points, Ashley Johnson had 12 points, and Brianna Johnson supplied 10 points and 13 rebounds for the Vikings, who outscored Sunrise Mountain, 28-6 in the third quarter to take a 64-13 lead.

Jasmine Jones scored nine points to lead the Miners.
