Roundup: Shania Harper’s double-double lifts Sierra Vista over Canyon Springs

Shania Harper had 14 points and 16 rebounds to power Sierra Vista’s girls basketball team to a 60-52 home win over Canyon Springs on Monday.

Ashley Hansen had 18 points for Sierra Vista, which outscored Canyon Springs 18-11 in the second quarter to take a 31-23 halftime lead.

Iyani Hayden and Kayla Rossum each scored 11 for the Pioneers, and teammate Ke’Ajanae Haley had 10 points.

Moapa Valley 38, Pahrump Valley 27 — At Overton, Kaitlyn Anderson led all scorers with 20 points as the Pirates defeated the Trojans.

Lainey Cornwall added eight points for Moapa Valley.

Pahrump’s Kathryn Daffer had 10 points.

Western 39, Del Sol 22 — At Del Sol, the Warriors outscored the Dragons 15-1 in the third quarter to earn the win.

Adrianna Jones led Western with 11 points.

Lajaei West scored 13 to pace Del Sol.

Virgin Valley 50, Tech 34 — At Mesquite, Savannah Price led all scorers with 18 points to lead the Bulldogs to victory over the Roadrunners.

Taylor Barnum and Alexis Boatright each scored nine points for Virgin Valley.

Jazlyn Domingo-Naval led Tech with 13 points.

Eldorado 48, Sunrise Mountain 26 — At Eldorado, Shendelle Remulla scored 15 points to lead the Sundevils to a victory over the Miners.

Indyah Direaux added 13 points for the Sundevils.

Ciara Smith led Sunrise Mountain with eight points.
