Roundup: Samara Miller’s free throws help Gators pull out win

Samara Miller made two free throws with 11 seconds remaining to lead Green Valley’s girls basketball team to a 50-47 road win over Dixie (Utah) on Friday.

Temerity Bauer scored 19 points to lead the Gators.

Miller finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds, and Michelle Lagunas-Monroy also scored 11 points for the Gators.

Eldorado 40, Tech 39 — At Tech, LaDavia Pierson scored a game-high 15 points as the Sundevils edged the Roadrunners.

Eldorado was 6-for-6 from the foul line, and Tech was 8-for-30.

Jazyln Domingo-Naval’s 14 points led the Roadrunners.

Canyon Springs 40, Shadow Ridge 37 — At Shadow Ridge, Ke’Ajanae Haley led the Pioneers with 16 points as they defeated the Mustangs.

Canyon Springs outscored Shadow Ridge 17-8 in the fourth quarter to claim the win.

Indian Springs 28, Mountain View 25 — At Mountain View, Halle Jackson had 10 points as the Thunderbirds held off the Saints.

Jordan Spriggs led Mountain View with 13 points, 17 rebounds, four steals and three blocked shots. Sydney Stanton added 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Saints.

Wells 56, Round Mountain 26 — At Wells, the Leopards used a 35-13 run in the middle two quarters to down the Knights in the Wells Rural Electric Classic.

Pahranagat Valley 48, Wells 42 — At Wells, the Panthers built on a 24-23 halftime lead and topped the Leopards in the Wells Rural Electric Classic.

Pahranagat Valley 48, Eureka 41 — At Wells, the Panthers held off the Vandals in the Wells Rural Electric Classic.

Lincoln County 40, Virgin Valley 38 — At Calvary Chapel, Kailey Kelley scored 11 points as the Lynx edged the Bulldogs in overtime to move into the tournament championship game.

Kendra Mathews added nine points for Lincoln County, which plays Moapa Valley in the final at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Nathalie Lagamayo led Virgin Valley with nine points.

Moapa Valley 54, Clark 50 — At Calvary Chapel, Lainey Corwnall scored 22 points to lead the Pirates over the Chargers in the other semifinal.

Shelbi Walker added 15 points for Moapa Valley, which outscored Clark 21-12 in the fourth quarter to pull out the win.

Boulder City 55, Lake Mead 23 — At Calvary Chapel, Hannah Estes and Madison Manns each scored 11 points to lead Boulder City to the win.

Josey White scored eight to pace Lake Mead.

Calvary Chapel 35, West Wendover 23 — At Calvary Chapel, Tyra Perkins scored 19 points to power the Lions over the Wolverines.

Jialing Monaco added eight points for Calvary Chapel.

Coronado JV 55, The Meadows 10 — At Calvary Chapel, the Cougars junior varsity rolled past the Mustangs.

Calvary Christian (Calif.) 53, SLAM Academy 8 — At Calvary Chapel, the Royal Knights led 29-3 at the half and cruised to the win.
