ROUNDUP: Parks’ late free throws help Cimarron girls edge Cheyenne

Traci Parks hit two free throws with 2.5 seconds remaining Friday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s girls basketball team to a 41-39 win at Cheyenne.

Parks finished with 24 points to lead the Spartans, who trailed 32-27 after three quarters.

Brea Thompson led the Desert Shields with 21 points.

Palo Verde 57, Mojave 23 — At Mojave, Mikayla Diers scored 10 points to help the Panthers roll past the Rattlers.

Jasmin Kiley added eight points for Palo Verde, which led 20-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Teaira Shorter led Mojave with 17 points.

Centennial 69, Arbor View 20 — At Arbor View, Breanna Workman scored 18 points to help the Bulldogs cruise past the Aggies.

Jada Brown added 16 points for Centennial, which led 51-5 at halftime. Tamera Williams had 11 points, and Tramina Jordan scored 10 for Centennial.

Dani Chaney led Arbor View with nine points.

Sierra Vista 55, Western 46 — At Sierra Vista, Jasmine Suarez had 18 points, five steals and four assists to lead the Mountain Lions past the Warriors.

Melia Tadytin had 16 points and 13 rebounds, and Shaunice Epton added 13 points for Sierra Vista.

Western’s Mylasia Smith had 13 points, and Brittany Moreland scored 11 for the Warriors.

Bishop Gorman 66, Durango 27 — At Durango, Zhane Dikes had 18 points, and Diamond Major scored 14 as the Gaels raced to a 34-9 halftime lead and routed the Trailblazers.

Sandria Bolden scored 10 points for Gorman.

Jasmine Thomas had nine points, and Darea’l Thomas grabbed 15 rebounds for Durango.

Bonanza 43, Spring Valley 36 — At Bonanza, Jessica Gallegos had 10 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocked shots to help the Bengals rally past the Grizzlies.

Alyssa Powers added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Bonanza, which trailed 32-29 going into the fourth quarter.

Shauna Patterson and Jana Espiritu each scored eight points for Spring Valley.

Clark 51, Pahrump Valley 38 — At Pahrump, Lisa Ko and Jeremika Adams each had 12 points, and the Chargers used a 15-6 second-quarter run to top the Trojans.

Bobbi Floyd added 11 points for Clark.

Kayla Skilling paced Pahrump with 12 points.

Coronado 47, Basic 37 — At Coronado, Sofie Cruz scored 17 points to lead the Cougars past the Wolves.

Kealy Brown added 10 points for Coronado, which led 34-22 at the half.

Kailai Brantner scored 15 points, and Dana Deloney had 10 points for Basic. 

Foothill 69, Del Sol 25 — At Foothill, Anaya Rodisha had 14 points to lead four double-figure scorers as the Falcons rolled past the Dragons.

Danielle Morris scored 11, and Christina Nash and Bri Higgins each added 10 points for Foothill, which led 41-16 at the half.

Melissa DeSantiago led Del Sol with 10 points.

Green Valley 53, Silverado 38 — At Green Valley, Maggie Manwarren scored 15 points, and the Gators used a 19-4 third-quarter run to pull away from the Skyhawks.

Rebecca Arthur added 10 points, and Angelica Mack pulled down 13 rebounds for Green Valley.

Jessica Meyers scored 15 points, and Brittany Loguidice added 12 points for Silverado.

Liberty 44, Tech 31 — At Tech, Jazmin O’Bannon scored 10 points to lead the Patriots past the Roadrunners.

Kristena Wilson scored 13 points to lead Tech, which was unable to rally from a 26-16 halftime deficit.

Sunrise Mountain 58, Desert Pines 43 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Miners outscored the Jaguars 40-14 in the second half to erase a 29-18 halftime deficit.

Elise Marshall tallied 13 points and nine rebounds. and Da’Nisha Wedlow added 11 points and six steals to lead Sunrise Mountain.

Jasmyn Rodriguez scored 11 points for Desert Pines.

Shadow Ridge 45, Moapa Valley 31 — At Shadow Ridge, Vianne Perez scored 14 points to help the Mustangs down the Pirates.

Ciera DaPra and Jasmine Nicolson each added eight points for Shadow Ridge, which took control with a 20-7 second-quarter run.

Chanel LaCroix scored 13 points to lead Moapa Valley.

Boulder City 46, Virgin Valley 36 — At Boulder City, Whitney Barlow had 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Katlyn Daly had 10 points, four rebounds and four steals to lead the Eagles past the Bulldogs.

Abbie Barnard scored 17 points to lead Virgin Valley.

Lake Mead 59, Agassi Prep 43 — At Lake Mead, Taylor Badua-Kono had 26 points to lead the Eagles past the Stars.

Abby Johnson added 13 points for Lake Mead, which led 32-16 at the half.

Noelle Chavis paced Agassi Prep with 16 points.

Lincoln County 60, Mountain View 31 — At Mountain View, Kourtney Gloeckner scored 19 points, and Nicole Florence added 16 points to lead the Lynx to an easy win over the Saints.

Rose Adkins led Mountain View with nine points.

Needles 45, The Meadows 20 — At Needles, Calif., Abby Chandler scored 13 points to help Needles cruise to a victory.

Melaney Mayes had nine points to lead The Meadows.

Calvary Chapel 53, Laughlin 45 — At Calvary Chapel, Deja Harris had 16 points and 14 rebounds, and the Lions rallied from a 24-16 halftime deficit to top the Cougars.

Phallen Nelson added 16 points and 10 steals, and Lianne Reyes had 11 points for Calvary Chapel.

Patty Valdez led Laughlin with 14 points, and teammates Diana Durazo and Ruby Mackey each scored 12 points.

Tonopah 40, Indian Springs 34 — At Indian Springs, Alli Friel scored 17 points to help the Muckers hold off the Thunderbirds.

Alexxa Reinke had 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Indian Springs, which fell short with a late rally.

Pahranagat Valley 59, Sandy Valley 14 — At Alamo, Bailee Hosier scored 13 points, Kyla Mortensen had 10 points and nine rebounds, and the Panthers rolled past the Sidewinders.

Halie Lewis scored 10 points, and Traci Strong supplied eight points and six steals for Pahranagat Valley, which led 45-8 at halftime.

Kenzi Smith led Sandy Valley with six points.

Beatty 58, Lund 20 — At Beatty, Amber Ibarra scored 23 points, and the Hornets blitzed to a 35-13 halftime lead and cruised past the Mustangs.

Melinda Gross added 12 points for Beatty.

Melynda Boren had seven points to lead Lund.
