ROUNDUP: Mills, Lewis rally Moapa Valley girls past Eagles

Emily Mills and Kimberly Lewis each scored 14 points Tuesday, and Moapa Valley’s girls basketball team rallied from a 28-23 halftime deficit to down visiting Boulder City, 50-48.

Breanna Harding added 13 points for the Pirates.

Katlyn Daly scored 15 points for Boulder City, which also got 12 points from Alyssa Ybarra and 10 points from Whitney Barlow. Boulder City shot just 9 of 27 from the free-throw line.

Legacy 48, Bonanza 39 —
At Legacy, the Longhorns used a 20-10 fourth quarter burst to pull away from the Bengals.

Deja Brown tallied 11 points and four steals, and teammate Tori Payne supplied eight points and 10 rebounds for Legacy, which got 10 points from Markeshia Evans.

Trane’e Jenkins scored 17 points, and Alyssa Powers had 13 points to lead Bonanza.

Desert Oasis 48, Cimarron-Memorial 31 —
At Cimarron, Tatiana Kearn scored 15 points as the Diamondbacks cruised past the Spartans.

Sammi Tso added 13 points for Desert Oasis, which led 29-16 at halftime. Ayla Rollins and Ashley Hibbard each supplied eight points for the Diamondbacks.

Kiana Carter led Cimarron with nine points.

Clark 59, Western 42 — At Clark, Bobbi Floyd had 22 points and 15 rebounds to help the Chargers defeat the Warriors.

Cequadva Belsar had 13 points, and Johnice Bland added 12 points and seven steals for Clark, which took over early and led 38-19 at halftime.

Destiny Gonzalez led Western with 18 points.

Cheyenne 48, Mojave 24 — At Mojave, Bria Buchanan scored 14 points as the Desert Shields topped the Rattlers.

Lajauna Brown added 13 points for Cheyenne, which trailed 10-9 after one quarter but outscored Mojave 28-11 over the next two quarters.

Dennisha Atkins scored 13 points for Mojave.

Faith Lutheran 57, Pahrump Valley 22 — At Faith Lutheran, Taylor Hammer and Julia Benko each scored 13 points to power the Crusaders past the Trojans.

Faith Lutheran held a commanding 32-7 halftime advantage.

Alyssa Murphy paced Pahrump with seven points.

Chaparral 47, Tech 36 — At Tech, Octavia Gray scored 11 points to help the Cowboys down the Roadrunners.

Alejandra Macias and Unique Wilson each supplied nine points for Chaparral, which outscored Tech 15-6 in the third quarter to take control after leading by six at halftime.

Haylee Holsclaw led Tech with eight points.

Virgin Valley 59, Sunrise Mountain 33 —
At Sunrise Mountain, Abbie Barnard scored 17 points to lead the Bulldogs to a win over the Miners.

Amanda Stenberg had 11 points, and Nikki Arquette added 10 points for Virgin Valley, which led 38-13 at halftime.

Jasmyn Rodriguez and Ayla Diaz each scored eight points for Sunrise Mountain.

Calvary Chapel 46, Lake Mead 25 — At Lake Mead, Phallen Nelson scored 16 points to lead the Lions past the Eagles.

Lianne Reyes helped Calvary Chapel with 14 points.

Megan Watkins scored 11 points to lead Lake Mead.

Needles 67, Mountain View 32 —
At Needles, Abby Chandler and Lexus Rodriguez each scored 16 points to lead the Mustangs in a rout over the Saints.

Kayla Hills added 10 points for Needles, which outscored Mountain View 18-1 in the first quarter.

Caitlyn Martin and Kiley Murphy each scored eight points to lead the Saints.
