Roundup: Kylie Stritenberger helps Pahrump down Miners

Kylie Stritenberger scored nine points Friday to lead host Pahrump Valley’s girls basketball team to a 38-34 win over Sunrise Mountain.

Tayla Wombaker added eight points for the Trojans.

Trinity Lavoll paced the Miners with 13 points.

Centennial 61, Benson Tech (Ore.) 54 — At Phoenix, Taylor Bigby scored 16 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Techmen in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Eboni Walker added 13 points and nine rebounds, and Daejah Phillips had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Centennial.

Desert Mountain (Ariz.) 46, Faith Lutheran 31 — At Phoenix, Kelsea Hurley scored 14 points, and the Wolves used a 12-3 game-ending run to top the Crusaders in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Sophie Gerber added 13 points for Desert Mountain.

Kelsey Howryla led Faith Lutheran with 17 points.

Westview (Ariz.) 40, Clark 36 — At Phoenix, the Knights edged the Chargers in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Lincoln County 39, Laughlin 31 — At Laughlin, the Lynx downed the Cougars.
