ROUNDUP: Kiley, Panther girls rally past Crusaders

Jasmin Kiley scored 20 points, and Palo Verde’s girls basketball team sank four free throws in the final 30 seconds to come from behind and edge host Faith Lutheran 49-46 on Wednesday.

The Crusaders scored with 30 seconds to play to take a 46-45 lead, but couldn’t hold on.

Jenise McKnight added 12 points, and Lily Tapusoa scored 11 for the Panthers, who outscored Faith Lutheran 18-7 in the fourth quarter to win.

Julia Benko led the Crusaders with 20 points, and teammate Sam Leonard scored 13.

Western 46, Clark 41 — At Western, Brittany Moreland had 16 points, 23 rebounds and seven steals to lead the Warriors past the Chargers.

Mylasia Smith added 10 points and 16 rebounds, and Jocelyn Jordan helped out with seven points, 10 rebounds and four steals for Western.

Bobbi Floyd scored 14 points to pace Clark.

Spring Valley 48, Pahrump Valley 34 — At Pahrump, Jana Espiritu scored 20 points to help the Grizzlies top the Trojans.

Ayanna Davison scored 10 and Shania Davis eight to help Spring Valley.

Kayla Skilling had 12 points to lead the Trojans.

Sierra Vista 43, Bonanza 33 — At Sierra Vista, Melia Tadytin had 16 points and 11 rebounds to help the Mountain Lions down the Bengals.

A’Yanna Johnson added 11 points and seven steals, and Shaunice Epton scored 10 points for Sierra Vista.

Alyssa Powers had 11 points, and Tanganika Hunt scored 10 for Bonanza.

Shadow Ridge 67, Cimarron-Memorial 49 — At Shadow Ridge, Jasmine Nicholson had 19 points, and Dana Christensen scored 14 as the Mustangs cruised past the Spartans.

Kiana Carter and Jalen Price each scored 12 points, and Chalon Henderson added 11 points for Cimarron.

Cheyenne 61, Mojave 33 — At Cheyenne, LaJuana Brown scored 16 points to lead the Desert Shields to an easy win over the Rattlers.

Brea Thompson added 15 points for Cheyenne, which bolted to a 21-6 first-quarter lead.

Teaira Shorter had 12 points for Mojave.

Centennial 70, Legacy 22 — At Centennial, the Bulldogs roared to a 53-17 halftime lead and cruised past the Longhorns.

Jada Brown had 15 points and Paige Barber scored 11 for Centennial. Shannon Brown, Tamera Williams and Breanna Workman each supplied nine points for the Bulldogs.

Tori Payne had 10 points for Legacy.

Arbor View 58, Moapa Valley 21 — At Arbor View, Dana Lewis had 19 point and 14 rebounds to lead the Aggies past the Pirates.

Janae Strode added 14 points and nine rebounds for Arbor View, which led 31-8 at the half.

Boulder City 59, Mountain View 21 — At Boulder City, Karlee Koopman had 18 points, five rebounds and three blocks to lead the Eagles past the Saints.

Janika Ross scored 12 points for Boulder City, and Whitney Barlow had 11 points and six rebounds for the Eagles.

Kiley Murphy paced Mountain View with 11 points.
