ROUNDUP: Jenkins, Bonanza girls sink Sundevils

Trane’e Jenkins led five double-figure scorers with 22 points Thursday to help Bonanza’s girls basketball team to an 84-63 win over visiting Eldorado.

Tanganika Hunt added 19 points, and Sianna Nelson had 14 points and seven rebounds for Bonanza. Alyssa Powers scored 14, and Saniah Simpson had 12 points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Bengals.

Denisheun Jackson paced the Sundevils with 36 points, and teammate Desia Walker scored 19.

Basic 35, Rancho 31 — At Rancho, Dana Deloney scored 12 points, and the Wolves scored the final seven points of the game to rally past the Rams.

LaKissa Martin had nine points for Rancho, which took a 28-22 lead into the fourth quarter.

Canyon Springs 57, Palo Verde 33 — At Canyon Springs, Alexia Thrower had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Daijhan Cooks supplied 16 points and 24 rebounds to lead the Pioneers to a rout of the Panthers.

Cherise Beynon added nine points, six assists and three blocks for Canyon Springs, which jumped out to a 32-17 halftime lead.

Amber Cornelius scored 14 points to lead Palo Verde.

Chaparral 50, Sunrise Mountain 41 — At Sunrise Mountain, Tichina Savoy had 18 points to power the Cowboys past the Miners.

Unique Wilson added 10 points for Chaparral, which led 27-26 at the half.

Azia McBrown scored 14 points, and Jenae Yurek-Carhee had nine points and 10 rebounds for Sunrise Mountain. Deanna Manning added 10 rebounds for the Miners.

Foothill 58, Las Vegas 45 — At Las Vegas, Taylor Turney tallied 26 points, and the Falcons used a 33-17 run during the middle two quarters to top the Wildcats.

Matti Ventling had 17 points, and Shomari Harris scored 14 for the Wildcats.

Desert Oasis 65, Spring Valley 18 —
At Spring Valley, Tatiana Kearn scored 25 points, and the Diamondbacks raced to a 29-6 first-quarter lead on their way to an easy win over the Grizzlies.

Sammi Tso added 12 points for Desert Oasis.

Krystal McKnight led the Grizzlies with seven points.

Boulder City 57, Faith Lutheran 49 — At Faith Lutheran, Whitney Barlow tallied 21 points, and the Eagles grabbed a 16-7 first-quarter lead and held on to beat the Crusaders.

Katlyn Daly added 17 points, and Alyssa Ybarra scored 10 for Boulder City.

Julia Benko paced Faith Lutheran with 24 points.

Moapa Valley 57, Desert Pines 50 — At Desert Pines, Shelbie Gray scored 15 points, and DaniElle Russo added 13 points to help the Pirates hold on for a win over the Jaguars.

Cydney Myles scored 24 points to pace Desert Pines, which trailed 19-5 after the first quarter.

Virgin Valley 46, Tech 32 — At Tech, Abbie Barnard had 12 points to lead the Bulldogs by the Roadrunners.

Carla Valle scored nine points to lead Tech.

Lincoln County 49, Calvary Chapel 40 — At Calvary Chapel, Kayla Matthews and Jaycee Wadsworth both scored 13 points to lead the Lynx past the Lions.

Phallen Nelson paced the Lions with 14 points. Lianne Reyes scored 13, and Chloe Hammond had 11 points for Calvary Chapel.

Mountain View 49, Adelson School 19 —
At Adelson School, Alley Cintron tallied 14 points to help the Saints down the Lions.

Rachel Horita, Caitlyn Martin and Kiley Murphy each added 11 points for Mountain View.

Ale Gibson paced Adelson with nine points.

The Meadows 41, Indian Springs 22 — At Indian Springs, Missy Siegel scored 16 points to lead the Mustangs to a win over the Thunderbirds.

The Meadows used a 17-0 run in the second quarter to take a 29-5 halftime lead.

Victoria Carpenter led Indian Springs with seven points.

Pahranagat Valley 50, Lake Mead 44 —
At Alamo, Bailee Hosier and Traci Strong each scored 18 points to lead the Panthers by the Eagles.

Taylor Badua-Kono had 13 points, and Megan Watkins scored 11 for Lake Mead.
