ROUNDUP: Jefferson leads Desert Pines girls past Valley

Andrea Jefferson had 25 points and 14 rebounds Saturday to lead Desert Pines to a 63-45 win over visiting Valley.

Clarissa Davis added 15 points and 12 rebounds, and LaBrea Walker scored 13 points for the Jaguars.

Vanessa Corona led the Vikings with 24 points. Christina Davis scored 11.

Durango 65, Faith Lutheran 26 — At Durango, Mia Bell capped an eye-popping 24-hour stretch by logging 39 points, 11 rebounds and 10 steals to help the Trailblazers rout the Crusaders.

Bell, who had 48 points and 11 rebounds in a double-overtime loss to Bonanza on Friday, had 28 of Durango’s 34 first-half points.
She was 17-from-23 from the field in the game.

Megan Boucher added 10 points for Durango.

Kelsey McCourt led Faith Lutheran with 10 points.

Bonanza 66, Western 34 — At Western, Shirley Pitts scored all 16 of her points in the first half, helping the Bengals open a 46-18 lead and coast to the win.

Aimee Doyle added 14 points for Bonanza. Alice Pitts scored 13 and Tristian Hall 10.

Melanie Russell led the Warriors with 10 points.

Silverado 64, Del Sol 32 — At Del Sol, Shea Collins led four double-figure scorers with 18 points as Silverado defeated the Dragons.

Alena Evans added 15 points, Mikayla Thielges 14 and Natalie Lainhart 11 for the Skyhawks.

Amy Austin scored 20 points to lead Del Sol.

Foothill 38, Tech 34 — At Tech, Brigitte Rigon scored eight of her 10 points in the fourth quarter as the Falcons rallied from a 28-24 deficit to top the Roadrunners.

Foothill’s Chantelle Monga also scored 10 points.

Mesha Phillips led Tech with 11 points.

Bishop Gorman 71, Snow Canyon (Utah) 30 — At Gorman, Aaryn Ellenberg scored 11 points during a 23-2 first-quarter run as the Gaels cruised to the win.

Ellenberg led Gorman with 23 points. Dannielle Diamant added 16 and Chelsie Pitt 10.

Sierra Vista 60, Boulder City 46 — At Boulder City, Teena Baxter scored 25 points as the Mountain Lions rallied from a six-point halftime deficit to down the Eagles.

Jeanette Jackson added 11 points for Sierra Vista.

Caiti Forrester led Boulder City with 23 points.

Lincoln County 73, Agassi Prep 35 — At Panaca, Marissa Smerek had 23 points and 10 rebounds to help the Lynx down the Stars.

Smerek had nine points in the second quarter as Lincoln County outscored Agassi 21-4 to take a 30-10 halftime lead.

Mary Culverwell added 15 points and Kori Gloeckner had nine assists and five steals for the Lynx.

Tamiyka Clark led the Stars with 19 points.

Needles 61, White Pine 37 — At Needles, Gena Chavira led the way with 16 points as Needles opened up a 31-14 halftime lead and cruised past the Bobcats.

Miranda Brackett and Alex Chandler each added 15 points for the Mustangs.

West Wendover 58, The Meadows 15 — At The Meadows, Danika Sharp played only 12 minutes, but outscored the Mustangs, pouring in 22 points to lead the Wolverines.

Estella Botello added 14 points for West Wendover, which led 22-0 after the first quarter and 34-3 at the half.

Pahranagat Valley 49, Henderson International 11 — At Henderson International, the Panthers led 34-0 at the half and cruised to the win.

Dakota Day had 13 points for Pahranagat Valley.

Round Mountain 51, Sandy Valley 7 — At Lake Mead, Tana Berg had 13 points as the Knights routed the Sidewinders.

Round Mountain led 26-2 after one quarter and 36-2 at the half.

Abby Luna scored all seven points for Sandy Valley.
