ROUNDUP: Hensey all over court in Shadow Ridge girls victory

Elisha Hensey scored 25 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out five assists as Shadow Ridge held off visiting Legacy 52-48 in girls basketball Tuesday.

Cheyana Slocum added 14 points for Shadow Ridge.

Brianna Watkins scored 19 points and Kayla Murray 11 to lead Legacy, which rallied in the fourth quarter but fell short.

Centennial 95, Cheyenne 43 — At Centennial, Alexis Byrd led six scorers in double figures with 25 points and added six assists as the Bulldogs rolled past Cheyenne.

Johnna Brown scored 18 points for the Bulldogs, who led 33-11 after the first quarter and outscored Cheyenne 26-0 in the fourth.

Ashley Klemz added 14 points, Courtney Hayes 13, Deanna Daniels 12, and Shannon Brown 11.

Sabrina King led the Desert Shields with 16 points.

Mojave 54, Arbor View 47 — At Mojave, Jazzmine Robinson scored 23 points and made six steals to carry the Rattlers past the Aggies.

Shanae Ireland supplied 12 points and seven steals for Mojave.

Jaleesa Williams led Arbor View with 10 points.

Palo Verde 65, Cimarron-Memorial 45 — At Palo Verde, Shameka Smith scored nine of her 19 points in the first quarter to help the Panthers defeat the Spartans.

Hayley Henderson, who hadn’t played for more than a week because of a concussion, had 17 points for Palo Verde, which led 25-10 after the first quarter.

Catherine Wyre led Cimarron with 20 points, and Jessica White had 10.

Bishop Gorman 79, Spring Valley 13 — At Spring Valley, the Gaels led the Grizzlies 38-2 after the first quarter and coasted.

Aaryn Ellenberg scored 12 points to lead Gorman. Chelsie Pitt added 11, and Amber Lane and Danielle Diamant had 10 each.

Silverado 53, Basic 38 — At Silverado, Shea Collins scored 20 points and Alena Evans contributed 19 points and five rebounds to help the Skyhawks beat the Wolves.

Marquichea Burns led Basic with 14 points.

Liberty 55, Coronado 37 — At Liberty, Amanda Delgado scored 15 of her game-high 23 points during the third quarter as the Patriots rallied past the Cougars.

Jade Washington had nine points and seven assists for the Patriots, who trailed 24-21 at halftime.

Lindsay Decker led Coronado with 16 points.

Tech 52, Del Sol 36 — At Del Sol, the Roadrunners outscored the Dragons 11-2 in the third quarter and breezed past Del Sol.

Mesha Phillips and Adriana Heredia led Tech with 15 points each.  Amy Austin had 13 for Del Sol.

Green Valley 68, Foothill 48 — At Green Valley, Jazmine Jarvis supplied 24 points, seven steals and six rebounds as the Gators rolled past the Falcons.

The Gators took control with a 24-6 edge in the second quarter.

Green Valley’s Vajae Robinson posted 12 points and 18 rebounds, and Danielle Christenson had 19 points and seven rebounds.

Alysse Thummel led Foothill with 13 points. Desirae Ayala had 11 and Chantelle Monga 10.

Needles 56, Boulder City 32 — At Boulder City, Alex Chandler scored 14 points, Miranda Brackett 12 and Haley Laswell 11 to lead Needles past the Eagles.

Jessi Forrester and Rachel Moody had nine points each for Boulder City.

Calvary Chapel 60, Henderson International 12 — At Henderson International, Sammie Mann scored 23 points and Bri Ridley had 15 as the Lions whipped the Wolverines.

Anna Duerden added 12 points for Calvary.

Lee Harrison grabbed 12 rebounds for Henderson International.

Pahranagat Valley 42, Mountain View 30 — At Mountain View, Mary Higbee scored 19 points, and Pahranagat Valley rallied from a 20-15 halftime deficit to beat the Saints.

Patrice Marshall and Briana Maruffo had 10 points each for Mountain View.
