Roundup: Faith Lutheran uses late rally to down Sierra Vista

Kayla Proctor scored a game-high 16 points as Faith Lutheran’s girls basketball team closed the game on a 12-2 run to earn a 64-59 home win over Sierra Vista on Tuesday.

Ellery Wilson converted a three-point play with 1:06 remaining to give Faith Lutheran a 58-57 lead, and Madison Bocobo went 4-for-4 from the line in the final 24 seconds to seal the victory.

Bocobo finished with 15 points, Kelsey Howryla added 10 points, and Wilson scored eight for Faith Lutheran, which sank 11 of 15 free throws in the fourth quarter.

Shania Harper had 14 points, and Alexis Hansen scored 13 to lead Sierra Vista.

Cimarron-Memorial 55, Canyon Springs 49 — At Canyon Springs, Elise Young had 16 points, and Tasia Moore scored 14 as the Spartans defeated the Pioneers.

Mary Jane Williams-Law added 11 points for Cimarron, which made 23 of 35 free throws.

Ke’Ajanae Haley had 21 points, and teammate Jeannette Fine scored 18 to pace Canyon Springs.

Spring Valley 79, Legacy 36 — At Spring Valley, Essence Booker led all scorers with 23 points to help the Grizzlies rout the Longhorns.

Kayla Harris had 10 points and five assists for Spring Valley, which finished with 18 steals.

Taeha Pankey had 17 points to lead the Longhorns.

Cheyenne 65, Chaparral 36 — At Chaparral, Germanie White scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Desert Shields over of the Cowboys.

Teionno McDaniel had 17 points, and Jennifer Quintana added 12 points for Cheyenne, which led 31-18 at halftime.

Brizeida Mora led Chaparral with 19 points.

Virgin Valley 53, Sunrise Mountain 38 — At Sunrise Mountain, Taylor Barnum scored 12 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Miners.

Alexis Boatright added nine points for Virgin Valley, which also got eight points from Jessica Barnum.

Laila Whittington led Sunrise Mountain with 10 points.

Arbor View 62, Eldorado 15 — At Arbor View, Kylan Hernandez scored 10 points to help the Aggies past the Sundevils.

Madison Cvijanovich and Janessa Adams each added nine points for Arbor View, which jumped out to a 41-7 halftime lead.

Roshonda Stevens had four points to lead Eldorado.

Shadow Ridge 65, Mojave 35 — At Mojave, Isis Triplett led the Mustangs with 24 points in their victory over the Rattlers.

Caitlyn Covington added 10 points for the Mustangs.

Destini Bolden led the Rattlers with eight points.

Bonanza 38, Tech 21 — At Bonanza, Ashley Bonner and Madeline Gonzalez each scored nine points to lead the Bengals to a victory over the Roadrunners.

Isaira Diaz added seven points for Bonanza.

Jazlyn Domingo-Naval scored 14 points to lead Tech.

Pahrump Valley 39, Del Sol 20 — At Pahrump, Jacquellen Stobbe had 10 points, and Virginia Weir scored seven as the Trojans stymied the Dragons.

Jessica Turner pulled down 10 rebounds, and Samantha Runnion had nine rebounds for Pahrump.

Lajaei West led Del Sol with 11 points.

Basic 47, Boulder City 27 — At Boulder City, Kailey Taylor scored 12 points as the Wolves drubbed the Eagles.

Mikayla Berg and Jasmine Thompson each added seven points for Basic, which held Boulder City to two points in the second quarter.

Madison Manns scored nine points for Boulder City.

Rancho 41, Clark 27 — At Clark, Saipress Jones had 10 points and 12 rebounds to lift the Rams over the Chargers.

Kyndal Ricks and Alesse Hall each scored nine for Rancho, which finished just 9-for-27 from the line.

Word of Life 34, Calvary Chapel 26 — At Calvary Chapel, the Eagles defeated the Lions.
