ROUNDUP: Evans’ double-double propels Liberty girls past Green Valley

Alena Evans had 25 points and 10 rebounds Friday to lead Liberty’s girls basketball team to an 82-61 home win over Green Valley.

Chanel Nacua added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Liberty, and Sydney Clark scored 10 points.

Angelica Mack and Jill Harland each scored 18 points for Green Valley, and Maggie Manwarren scored 16.

Centennial 57, Palo Verde 37 — At Palo Verde, Jada Brown scored 17 points as the Bulldogs cruised past the Panthers.

Shannon Brown added 10 points for Centennial.

Jasmin Kiley led Palo Verde with 15 points.

Faith Lutheran 62, Cimarron-Memorial 53 — At Cimarron, Julia Benko scored 21 points to lead the Crusaders past the Spartans.

Kelsey McCourt added 16 points for Faith Lutheran.

Sarina Creswell led Cimarron with 10 points.

Clark 51, Sierra Vista 48 — At Sierra Vista, Bobbi Floyd scored 22 points as the Chargers held off the Mountain Lions.

Julianna Thornock added 11 points for Clark, which led 49-37 entering the fourth quarter.

Melia Tadytin led Sierra Vista with 15 points.

Arbor View 72, Mojave 32 — At Mojave, Jena Valenzuela scored 18 points to lead the Aggies to an easy win over the Rattlers.

Dana Lewis chipped in 14 points for Arbor View, which got nine points apiece from Ria Louch and Haley Tebbs.

Teaira Shorter paced Mojave with a game-high 21 points.

Legacy 41, Shadow Ridge 34 — At Legacy, Tori Payne had 15 points to help the Longhorns pull away from the Mustangs.

Markeshia Evans added eight points for Legacy, which led 16-15 at halftime.

Sabriya Brooks scored 16 points to lead Shadow Ridge.

Desert Oasis 65, Spring Valley 15 — At Spring Valley, Auburn Smith scored a game-high 18 points, and the Diamondbacks used a 30-6 first-quarter burst to cruise to the win.

Tatiana Kearn added 11 points, and Sammi Tso scored nine for Desert Oasis.

Bishop Gorman 60, Bonanza 12 — At Gorman, Zhane Dikes scored 14 points and Meghan Carter had 12 points and eight rebounds as the Gaels routed the Bengals.

Julia Ewalefo added 12 points for Gorman, which led 37-4 at halftime.

Western 59, Durango 42 — At Durango, Brittany Moreland had 25 points and 15 rebounds, and teammate Mylasia Smith tallied 10 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Warriors past the Trailblazers.

Las Vegas 64, Rancho 55 — At Rancho, Shomari Harris scored 20 points to help the Wildcats rally from an early deficit and down the Rams.

Shaleea Butler added 16 points for Las Vegas.

LaKissa Martin had 19 points, and Kenosha Grey scored 13 for Rancho.

Canyon Springs 69, Chaparral 37 — At Canyon Springs, Cherise Beynon had 13 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and nine steals to power the Pioneers by the Cowboys.

Pearl Paulo scored 20 points for Canyon Springs, which led 38-16 at halftime.

Tichina Savoy scored 10 points to lead Chaparral.

Valley 69, Eldorado 22 — At Valley, Kennedy Wharton had 20 points and 12 rebounds as the Vikings dispatched the Sundevils.

Tyricia Payne had 16 points, nine rebounds and five steals for Valley, which bolted to a 43-12 halftime lead.

Virgin Valley 50, Moapa Valley 24 — At Mesquite, Nikki Arquette scored 10 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Pirates.

Chanel LaCroix scored 11 points to lead Moapa Valley, which was held to eight points in the second half.

Boulder City 60, Cheyenne 50 — At Boulder City, Alyssa Ybarra scored 25 points to help the Eagles defeat the Desert Shields.

Mallory Bird added 10 points for Boulder City, and Whitney Barlow contributed seven points and 11 rebounds.

Lajuana Brown led Cheyenne with 14 points.

Lincoln County 62, Needles 27 — At Needles, Calif., Tia Florence scored 16 points to help the Lynx roll past the Mustangs.

Lacee Babcock and Leti Escobedo each added 11 points for Lincoln County, which got 10 points from Jaycee Wadsworth.

Abby Chandler led Needles with seven points, and Holly Laswell scored six.

Lake Mead 41, The Meadows 28 — At Lake Mead, Colleen Zumaran had 11 points and 10 rebounds to help the Eagles down the Mustangs.

Taylor Badua-Kono also scored 11 points for Lake Mead, which led 28-9 at halftime.

Bailey Gosse led The Meadows with eight points.

Calvary Chapel 49, Agassi Prep 28 — At Agassi Prep, Phallen Nelson tallied 17 points, and Deja Harris scored 15 to help the Lions cruise past the Stars.

Noelle Chavis led Agassi Prep with 11 points.

Pahranagat Valley 60, Tonopah 32 — At Alamo, Halie Lewis scored 25 points, and Kimberley Lewis supplied 15 points and eight rebounds as the Panthers defeated the Muckers.

Bailee Hosier added 13 points and four assists for Pahranagat Valley.

Elaina Dunn led Tonopah with eight points.

Beatty 37, Indian Springs 30 — At Indian Springs, Shankara Venezio scored 12 points as the Hornets outlasted the Thunderbirds in overtime.

Amber Ibarra added 10 points for Beatty, which outscored Indian Springs 8-1 in overtime.

Heather Thormahlen paced Indian Springs with 10 points.

Seligman (Ariz.) 59, Laughlin 19 — At Seligman, Ariz., the Antelopes built a 38-7 halftime lead and cruised past the Cougars.

Paty Valdez paced Laughlin with six points.
