Sofie Cruz scored 17 points and went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line in overtime Friday to help Coronado’s girls basketball team to a 43-36 win over host Foothill.
Ashley Johnson added 13 points for the Cougars, who earned the No. 2 seed out of the Southeast League with the victory.
Foothill had a chance to win at the end of regulation, but a 3-pointer at the buzzer didn’t fall. Anaya Rodisha scored 12 points for the Falcons, who dropped to the Southeast’s No. 3 seed.
Green Valley 57, Rancho 45 — At Rancho, Maggie Manwarren poured in 25 points to help the Gators clinch the Northeast League’s final playoff spot with a win over the Rams.
Rianna Rudolph added 20 points for Green Valley, which used an 18-7 third-quarter run to take control.
LaKissa Martin had 14 points, and Kanosha Grey scored 13 for Rancho, which got 10 points from Darje Martin.
Basic 40, Del Sol 30 — At Basic, Jayla Brown had eight points and 10 rebounds to help the Wolves clinch the Southeast League’s final playoff spot with a win over the Dragons.
Raevyn Allen also scored eight points for Basic, which took a 22-14 halftime lead.
Brittany Collins led Del Sol with 11 points.
Sierra Vista 54, Spring Valley 46 — At Spring Valley, Melia Tadytin scored 18 points to help the Mountain Lions earn a postseason berth with a victory over the Grizzlies.
Kennedy Nieves added 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Enas Ajaj had 12 points to help Sierra Vista, which pulled away in the fourth quarter.
Jana Espiritu led Spring Valley with 17 points. Shawna Patterson had 16 points for the Grizzlies.
Canyon Springs 66, Valley 59 — At Canyon Springs, Alexia Thrower and Daijhan Cooks each had 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Pioneers held off the Vikings.
Mandy Chitwood added 12 points, and Cherise Beynon had six points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists for Canyon Springs, which led only 46-45 entering the fourth quarter.
Tyricia Payne led Valley with 25 points. Kennedy Wharton added 15 points, and Gabby Cabanero scored 11 for the Vikings.
Las Vegas 63, Silverado 40 — At Las Vegas, Matti Ventling had 18 points and eight rebounds to lead the Wildcats past the Skyhawks.
Shomari Harris contributed 15 points, and Shaleea Butler supplied 13 points for the Wildcats.
A.J. Hodas finished with 12 points, and Brittany Loguidice and Jasmyn Garcia each scored 11 points for Silverado.
Liberty 75, Eldorado 39 — At Eldorado, Jamellia Clark had 18 points and nine rebounds to help the Patriots roll past the Sundevils.
Paris Strawther added 17 points for Liberty, which led 23-0 after the first quarter.
Desia Walker scored 14 points, and Denisheun Jackson had 13 points to lead Eldorado.
Palo Verde 51, Durango 40 — At Palo Verde, Paulina Silcox scored 16 points to help the Panthers rally past the Trailblazers.
Ioana Ganeva added 15 points, and Ivana Ganeva had 10 points for Palo Verde, which trailed by nine points before taking control in the second quarter.
Jazmine Chavez paced Durango with 17 points.
Arbor View 63, Shadow Ridge 16 — At Arbor View, Ariona Gill had 17 points, and the Aggies raced to a 47-6 halftime lead en route to an easy win over the Mustangs.
Dana Lewis added 11 points for Arbor View.
Michelle Wager led Shadow Ridge with nine points.
Mojave 41, Moapa Valley 31 — At Mojave, Dennisha Atkins led all scorers with 13 points to push the Rattlers past the Pirates.
Jeanet Washington supplied nine points for Mojave, which outscored the Pirates 21-8 in the fourth quarter.
Makayla Jackson led the way for Moapa Valley with seven points.
Calvary Chapel 51, Agassi Prep 33 — At Agassi Prep, Lianne Reyes had 19 points to help the Lions secure the top seed for the Division III Southern League playoffs with a win over the Stars.
Felicia Hootsell had 10 points for Agassi Prep.
Needles 34, Lincoln County 33 — At Needles, Calif., Valerie Vega banked in an 8-footer with 56 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Mustangs a victory over the Lynx.
Caitlyn Courtwright scored 14 points to lead Needles, and teammate Abby Chandler finished with 13 points.
Jaycee Wadsworth scored 15 points to pace Lincoln County, which rallied late in the fourth quarter to force the extra period.
The Meadows 47, Lake Mead 40 — At Lake Mead, Anjali Daulat had 10 points, and the Mustangs battled back from a 30-23 deficit after three quarters to top the Eagles in overtime.
Taylor Badua-Kono had 14 points for Lake Mead.
Pahranagat Valley 52, Round Mountain 27 — At Alamo, Traci Strong scored 19 points to help the Panthers beat the Knights.
Bailee Hosier added 16 points, and Jamie Hansen scored 11 for Pahranagat Valley, which took control early.
Morgan Manley led Round Mountain with 12 points.
Beatty 64, Sandy Valley 16 — Melynda Gross scored 14 points, and the Hornets overwhelmed the Sidewinders.
