Roundup: Coronado puts away Foothill

Senior guard Haley Tyrell scored 21 points to guide Coronado’s girls basketball team to a 55-47 home victory over Foothill on Friday evening.

Aeryn Hawkins added 14 points for the Cougars, and Haley Morton scored eight.

Emily Capps and Bri Rosales each scored 12 points to lead Foothill.

Democracy Prep 58, Calvary Chapel 51 — At Calvary Chapel, Sharmayne Finley scored 25 of her game-high 46 points in the first half as the Blue Knights defeated the Lions.

Jialing Monaco had 23 points to lead Calvary Chapel, and teammate Tyra Perkins scored nine.

Arbor View 55, Shadow Ridge 46 — At Shadow Ridge, Autumn Westmoreland led all scorers with 20 points as the Aggies defeated the Mustangs.

Arbor View guard Alaysia Reed also scored 16 points, and Madison Cvijanovich scored 11 points.

Isis Triplett led the Mustangs with 13 points as Caitlyn Covington scored 12 points, and Paula Agu scored 10 points.

Palo Verde 34, Legacy 32 — At Palo Verde, Ariana Davis scored 12 points and Alyssa Maillaro scored 11 points as they led the Panthers to a victory over the Longhorns.

Legacy’s Taeha Pankey and Sam Greene each scored nine points.

Green Valley 56, Basic 30 - At Basic, Temerity Bauer scored 15 points to lead the Gators past the Wolves.

Michelle Lagunas-Monroy added 11 points for the Gators, who outscored the Wolves 35-13 in the first half.

Madison Skirvin and Lauren Powell each scored eight points to lead the Wolves.

Centennial 64, Cimarron-Memorial 31 — At Centennial, Melanie Isbell led all scorers with 14 points in the Bulldogs’ victory over the Spartans.

Eboni Walker and Jade Thomas each added seven points for Centennial, which led 27-4 after the first quarter.

Amoura Whitney and Elise Young scored eight points apiece for Cimarron.

Liberty 69, Silverado 15 — At Silverado, Dre’una Edwards had 26 points, 11 rebounds, 11 steals, five assists and five blocks as the Patriots rolled the Skyhawks.

Rae Burrell had 12 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for Liberty, and Trinity Vazquez added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Jessica Guzman led Silverado with six points.

Cheyenne 53, Pahrump Valley 38 — At Pahrump, Teionni McDaniel led all scorers with 18 points as the Desert Shields defeated the Trojans.

Kathryn Daffer led the Trojans with eight points.

Faith Lutheran 66, Las Vegas 30 — At Faith Lutheran, Madison Bocobo scored 19 points to lead the Crusaders in a rout of the Wildcats.

Kayla Proctor added 14 points for the Crusaders, who led 19-7 after the first quarter.

Alexiz Jenkins scored 19 points to lead the Wildcats.

Mojave 56, Sunrise Mountain 20 — At Sunrise Mountain, Alecia Kelly scored 20 points to lead the Rattlers past the Miners.

Kiara Lemon scored 13 points for the Rattlers, who started the game on a 12-2 run.

Dior Griffith-Brown scored eight points to lead the Miners.

Western 50, Desert Pines 42 — At Desert Pines, Adrianna Jones scored 15 points to lead the Warriors past the Jaguars.

Teresa Capa scored 11 points for the Warriors, who outscored the Jaguars 23-14 in the first half.

Elasjanae Burns scored a game-high 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Jaguars.

Beaver Dam 33, Indian Springs 18 — At Indian Springs, Kynnedie Ellingford scored 11 points to lead the Diamondbacks past the Thunderbirds.

Yesenia Ortega scored 10 points for the Diamondbacks, who started the game on a 10-3 run.

Halle Jackson scored eight points to lead the Thunderbirds.

Lincoln County 62, Mountain View 9 — At Mountain View, Kailey Kelley led all scorers with 12 points in the Lynx’s win over the Saints.

Brooklyn Hafen and Brynlee Wadsworth each added 10 points for Lincoln County.

Kylee Cameron and Hailey Hooge scored eight apiece.

Laughlin 41, The Meadows 22 — At Laughlin, the Cougars defeated the Mustangs.
