ROUNDUP: Chargers overcome 16-point third-quarter deficit to knock off Tech

Tarah Murph scored 23 points Tuesday, and Clark’s girls rallied from a 16-point third-quarter deficit to stun host Tech, 54-53.

Kearra Nesmith added 15 points for Clark.

Julie Harless paced Tech with 17 points. Mesha Phillips added 13 points and Kristena Wilson had 10 points for the Roadrunners.

Coronado 47, Eldorado 38 — At Coronado, Jessica Smith scored 14 points to lead the Cougars over the Sundevils.

Sofie Cruz and Sarah Dexter each added 10 points for Coronado.

Casey Bradshaw led Eldorado with 14 points.

Cheyenne 46, Valley 42 — At Valley, Shaunice Cameron had 13 points as the Desert Shields edged the Vikings.

Taryn Hicks added 10 points for Cheyenne.

Christina Davis led Valley with 14 points, and Jessica Walton scored 11 for the Vikings.

Del Sol 37, Chaparral 30 — At Del Sol, Amy Austin scored 10 of her 17 points during a 17-7 second-quarter run that helped the Dragons down Chaparral.

Heather Romero added 11 points for Del Sol.

Nazzarh Lockett led the Cowboys with 10 points.

Silverado 62, Canyon Springs 43 — At Silverado, Shea Collins led a balanced attack with 16 points, and the Skyhawks used a 20-7 second-quarter burst to top the Pioneers.

Collins, who was 7-of-7 from the free-throw line, added six assists. Tailor Monroe scored 14 points, and Jessica Meyers and Natalie Lainhart each added 12 points.

Meyers, who scored 10 points in the first quarter, had nine rebounds and five assists. Lainhart had eight rebounds.

Kenosha Wright paced the Pioneers with 12 points. Skotasia Thomas and Shante Thomas each scored 10 points for Canyon Springs.

Centennial 92, Faith Lutheran 18 — At Faith Lutheran, Alexis Byrd scored 30 points as the Bulldogs routed the Crusaders.

Ashley Klemz had 19 points and Courtney Hayes added 16 for Centennial. Latangie Richard scored 13 points.

Kelsey McCourt led Faith Lutheran with seven points.

Las Vegas 44, Cimarron-Memorial 33 — At Cimarron, Brianna Melton scored 12 points and Milana Jones added eight as the

Wildcats earned a road win over the Spartans.

Tyler Simpson scored 12 points to lead Cimarron.

Foothill 40, Desert Pines 37— At Foothill, Bri Higgins had 13 points, 15 rebounds, five steals and seven blocks as the Falcons rallied past Desert Pines.

Samantha Gruetner added nine points and five assists for Foothill.

LaBrea Walker had 24 points for Desert Pines, which pulled within two-points at the start of the fourth quarter.

Mojave 63, Rancho 41 — At Mojave, Clarissa Cannon recorded 22 points, seven rebounds and eight steals, and Jazzmine Robinson supplied 14 points and 10 steals as the Rattlers thumped the Rams.

Avionna Reece added nine points and seven rebounds for Mojave, which outscored Rancho 26-15 in the fourth quarter.

Aisha Momodu had 12 points for Rancho, and Erica Johnson added 10.

Basic 62, Boulder City 38 — At Boulder City, Marquichea Burns scored 19 points as Basic pulled away from the Eagles.

Noemi Hernandez added 17 points and Kailai Brantner 11 for the Wolves.

Bri Marang led the Eagles with 10 points.

Pahrump Valley 38, Virgin Valley 27 — At Mesquite, Ashley Lindgren scored 10 points to help the Trojans earn a road win over the Bulldogs.

Jenelle Weythman scored 14 points, and Rachel Morris added 11 for Virgin Valley.

Trinity 52, Adelson School 27 — At Adelson, Rene Calero scored 18 points, and Brittany Kersenbrock tallied 14 as the Thunder rolled past the Lions.

Trinity enjoyed a 32-11 halftime lead.

Sueleika Blackwell led Adelson with eight points.

Henderson International 42, Calvary Chapel 26 — At Henderson International, Brittany Huff tallied 23 points to lead the Wolverines past the Lions.

Kerry Chang added seven points for Henderson International.

Sammie Mann led Calvary Chapel with 12 points.

Boulder City JV 72, The Meadows 13 — At Boulder City, the Eagles’ junior varsity squad rolled past the Mustangs.

Kimi Sharma led The Meadows with seven points.
