Roundup: Aaliyah Booker helps Bonanza hold off Calvary Chapel
Aaliyah Booker made four 3-pointers and had 13 points Thursday to help Bonanza’s girls basketball team to a 46-40 win over Calvary Chapel in the Vegas Invitational at Mountain View.
Macyn Raleigh added 13 points, and Sade Booker scored 11 for the Bengals, who led 24-19 at the half.
Tyra Perkins paced the Lions with 21 points.
Chadwick (Calif.) 70, Tech 30 — At Mountain View, Hope Arnett made four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points as the Dolphins routed the Roadrunners in the Vegas Invitational.
Kate Hui Bon Hoa added 15 points, and Alexis Lew scored 14 for Chadwick.
Jessica Gamatero led Tech with eight points.
Downey (Calif.) 52, Clark 25 — At San Diego, the Vikings used a 17-3 third-quarter run to pull away from the Chargers in the So Cal Holiday Prep Classic.
Grossmont (Calif.) 51, Legacy 41 — At Bonita Vista, California, the Foothillers grabbed a 26-17 halftime lead and held off the Longhorns in the Gold Crown Holiday Tip-Off.
Sam Greene had 20 points for Legacy.
