GIRLS BASKETBALL: Myles, Jaguars hold on to nip Las Vegas

Chrystian Myles scored 17 points Tuesday to help Desert Pines' girls basketball team hold on for a 41-39 win at Las Vegas.

Jordan Bailey added 16 points for the Jaguars, who carried a 27-18 lead into the fourth quarter.

Adrina Collins had 16 points, and Kiona Jolley scored 12 for the Wildcats, who made just 11 of 24 free throws.

Palo Verde 71, Foothill 66 — At Foothill, Paulina Silcox poured in 28 points to help the Panthers rally by the Falcons.

Brooklyn Cruz added 20 points for Palo Verde, which trailed 51-50 entering the fourth quarter.

Rae Burrell tallied 19 points and 10 rebounds for Foothill. Trinity Betoney had 18 points, Katey Roquemore scored 14 and Kylie Vint supplied 11 points for the Falcons.

Western 51, Tech 41 — At Western, Destiny Gonzalez scored 24 points to help the Warriors top the Roadrunners.

Capricia Pierce added 21 points for Western.

Leslie Williams led Tech with 11 points.

Liberty 66, Green Valley 55 — At Green Valley, Kaily Kaimikaua scored 20 points to lead the Patriots to victory over the Gators.

Taylor Turney had 14 points, and Nancy Caballero added 10 points for Liberty, which used a 24-16 fourth-quarter spurt to pull away.

Yamilei Rodriguez scored 15 points to lead Green Valley, and Ellee Barton had 14 points for the Gators.

Sierra Vista 54, Boulder City 42 — At Boulder City, Danielle Morrow scored 13 points to help the Mountain Lions beat the Eagles.

Shania Harper added 12 points for Sierra Vista.

Hannah Estes led Boulder City with 11 points.

Basic 57, Chaparral 32 — At Chaparral, Ariel Hamilton supplied 15 points as the Wolves defeated the Cowboys.

Zoila Pi had 11 points, and teammate Amanda Sanchez added 10 points for Basic, which outscored Chaparral 27-9 in the first half.

Marcia Hawkins paced the Cowboys with 13 points.

Desert Oasis 57, Durango 29 — At Durango, Ahmaya Smith scored 15 points as the Diamondbacks downed the Trailblazers.

Mikala Kirby had 11 points, and Ashlynn Simpson scored 10 for Desert Oasis.

Brittany Romo led Durango with 12 points.

Canyon Springs 69, Clark 26 — At Canyon Springs, Dayonna Maddox had 14 points, and Alexia Thrower scored 13 to guide the Pioneers by the Chargers.

Haja Dainkeh added 12 points for Canyon Springs, which led 41-15 at the half.

Shaylyn Thacker led Clark with 14 points.

Centennial 64, Coronado 15 — At Coronado, Justice Ethridge scored 21 points as the Bulldogs routed the Cougars.

Samantha Thomas added 10 points for Centennial, which led 51-11 at the half.

Payton Caci led Coronado with six points.

Bishop Gorman 85, Faith Lutheran 43 — At Faith Lutheran, Megan Jacobs scored 19 points, and Madison Washington added 15 points to power the Gaels past the Crusaders.

Raychel Stanley had 12 points, and Aja teammate Phoumiphat supplied 10 points for Gorman, which jumped out to a 43-21 halftime lead.

Madison Bocobo scored 12 points to lead Faith Lutheran, and Maddy Larson had 10 points for the Crusaders.

Snow Canyon (Utah) 60, Virgin Valley 32 — At Mesquite, Madison Mooring scored 14 points as the Warriors cruised to a win over the Bulldogs.

Sydney Bott added 13 points for Snow Canyon, which outscored Virgin Valley 17-0 in the third quarter.

Bernice Fiso had 12 points, and Spencer Green scored 10 for Virgin Valley.

Mountain View 52, Calvary Chapel 35 — At Mountain View, Tayah DeBouck scored 16 of her 25 points in the second half to lead the Saints by the Lions.

Mia Shingles added 10 points for Mountain View, which led only 22-21 at the half.

Malia Lee led Calvary Chapel with 15 points.

Agassi Prep 70, Lake Mead 19 — At Lake Mead, Azaria Conway-Wilson had 20 points as the Stars routed the Eagles.

Sharmayne Finley added 16 points, and Destiny Rover scored 13 for Agassi Prep, which got 11 rebounds from Raylene Thomas.

Jillian Morejon led Lake Mead with seven points.

Beatty 41, Indian Springs 14 — At Beatty, Andrea Leon, Denise Gonzalez and Alexia Gil each scored eight points to help lead the Hornets defeat the Thunderbirds.

Sevanna Morgondo scored seven points for Indian Springs.

Cheyenne 47, Shadow Ridge 44 — At Shadow Ridge, the Desert Shields won in overtime.

Moapa Valley 52, Pahranagat Valley 18 — At Alamo, the Pirates rolled by the Panthers.

Needles 45, Laughlin 25 — At Laughlin, the Mustangs topped the Cougars.
