GIRLS BASKETBALL: King helps Mustangs rally by Skyhawks

Assana King had 20 points and seven rebounds Friday to help Shadow Ridge rally for a 56-53 home win over Silverado.

Alexa Martins added 11 points for the Mustangs, who trailed 20-13 at halftime.

Silverado’s Deja Siaki had a game-high 23 points, and teammate Monet Salazar scored 12.

Las Vegas 40, Cimarron-Memorial 36 — At Cimarron, Adrina Collins scored a team-high 13 points as the Wildcats outlasted the Spartans.

Teconna Dyer had 12 points, and Jada Williams scored 11 for Las Vegas, which led 29-28 after three quarters.

Amoura Whitney had 12 points for Cimarron.

Virgin Valley 55, Desert Pines 51 — At Mesquite, Spencer Green scored 18 points, and the Bulldogs outscored the Jaguars 19-10 in the third quarter to take control.

Bernice Fiso added 12 points, and Emma Barnum scored 11 for Virgin Valley.

Jordan Bailey had 24 points for Desert Pines, which led 28-23 at the half.

Del Sol 48, Sunrise Mountain 40 — At Sunrise Mountain, Alina Marruffo scored 14 points as the Dragons downed the Miners.

Jazland Campbell and Azhwalaee Oliver each scored 11 points for Del Sol, which trailed 21-20 at the half

Shayne Siegel scored 13 points to lead Sunrise Mountain.

Mojave 44, Pahrump Valley 37 — At Mojave, Charleea Armstrong scored 19 points to lead the Rattlers over the Trojans.

Pahrump, which trailed 20-9 at the half, pulled within four after the third quarter before Mojave pulled away for the win. Keyara Lemon added 10 points for Mojave.

Shayla Dance had 13 points and Alyssa Murphy 12 to lead the Trojans.

Boulder City 54, Chaparral 40 — At Chaparral, Alyssa Ybarra scored 16 points to help the Eagles down the Cowboys.

Megan Morton had 12 points, and Samantha Hanson scored 11 for Boulder City, which led 38-33 after three quarters.

Alexis Vanstory had 11 points to lead Chaparral.

Faith Lutheran 61, Sierra Vista 51 — At Sierra Vista, Haley Vinson poured in 31 points to lead the Crusaders over the Mountain Lions.

Vinson had 20 points in the first half as Faith Lutheran took a 34-27 lead. Morgan Hill added 16 points for the Crusaders.

Kelsey Jimenez paced Sierra Vista with 16 points, and teammate Danielle Morrow scored 10.

Desert Oasis 66, Palo Verde 36 — At Palo Verde, Mikala Kirby scored 24 points to lead the Diamondbacks to an easy win over the Panthers.

Ashlynn Sharp added 15 points for the Diamondbacks, who blew the game open with a 19-6 third-quarter run.

Paulina Silcox scored 19 points to lead the Panthers.

Canyon Springs 84, Clark 40 — At Clark, Alexia Thrower led four double-figure scorers with 26 points as the Pioneers routed the Chargers.

Daijhan Cooks had 13 points, Dre’una Edwards added 12 points and LaKiya Yarber scored 11 for Canyon Springs, which outscored Clark 39-14 in the third quarter.

Bobbi Floyd had a team-high 16 points, and teammate Karlicia Stroughter scored 12 for Clark.

Foothill 80, Durango 57 — At Durango, Taylor Turney scored 29 points as the Falcons topped the Trailblazers.

Mikayla Yeakel added 14 points for Foothill, which led 41-23 at the half.

Jazmin Chavez had 21 points, and teammate Brittany Romo scored 19 for Durango.

Centennial 81, Green Valley 44 — At Centennial, Pam Wilmore had 22 points and seven steals as the Bulldogs cruised over the Gators.

Lauren Welch added 16 points, and Courtney Walker scored 11 for Centennial.

Yamilei Rodriguez and Gracelle Garcia each scored 10 points for Green Valley.

Moapa Valley 50, Tech 24 — At Tech, Kyla Shumway, Matilda Thompson and Emily Mills each scored eight points as the Pirates routed the Roadrunners.

Alyssa Ahina led Tech with nine points.

Spring Valley 60, Western 17 — At Spring Valley, Essence Booker had game-high 20 points as the Grizzlies routed the Warriors.

Bria Hardin-Davidson and Kayla Harris each notched seven points for Spring Valley, which led 50-9 at halftime.

Capricia Pierce led Western with 12 points.

Mountian View 56, Laughlin 39 — At Mountain View, Kiley Murphy had 22 points and Rose Adkins 19 to lead the Saints past the Cougars.

Kayla Nelson scored 15 to lead Laughlin, which got 10 points from Brittany Schelper.

The Meadows 58, Lake Mead 24 — At Lake Mead, Bailey Gosse scored 21 points to lead the Mustangs over the Eagles 58-24.

Tahsin Najmi added 10 points for The Meadows, which got nine points and 15 rebounds from Hana Resch.

Cassidy Gosse had 10 rebounds and six assists, and Delaney Gosse added 10 assists, five steals and four blocked shots for the Mustangs.

Savannah Schmidt led Lake Mead with 17 points.

Lincoln County 57, Agassi Prep 28 — At Panaca, Hannah Hafen and Easton Tingey scored 12 points apiece as the Lynx downed the Stars.

Savannah Harr added 10 points for Lincoln County, which led 36-15 at halftime.

Indian Springs 47, Word of Life 19 — At Indian Springs, Cheyenne Noyes scored 14 points to lead the Thunderbirds over the Eagles.

Halle Jackson and Sevanna Morgando each added eight points for Indian Springs, which outscored Word of Life 20-4 in the second half.

Arieyanna Banks led the Eagles with 11 points.
