GIRLS BASKETBALL: Floyd helps Chargers hold off Cheyenne

Bobbi Floyd had 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead Clark's girls basketball team to a 44-34 home win over Cheyenne on Tuesday.

Karlicia Stroughter added eight points for the Chargers, who sealed the win with key free throws in the fourth quarter.

Bria Buchanan led Cheyenne with 12 points.

Legacy 53, Cimarron-Memorial 36 — At Legacy, Carolina Rahkonen scored 30 points to help the Longhorns roll past the Spartans.

Aviana Clark added seven points for Legacy, which pulled away in the second quarter.

Ashli Tyus led Cimarron with nine points.

Centennial 86, Bonanza 42 — At Bonanza, Ioana Ganeva had 16 points, and Karina Brandon scored 15 as the Bulldogs routed the Bengals.

Paige Barber added 13 points for Centennial, which led 48-27 at halftime and outscored Bonanza 23-8 in the third quarter.

Tanganika Hunt had 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead Bonanza.

Bishop Gorman 70, Desert Oasis 48 — At Gorman, Raychel Stanley scored 20 points as the Gaels rolled past the Diamondbacks.

Maddison Washington added 14 points, and Sandria Bolden had 11 points for Gorman, which used a 26-7 third-quarter run to pull away.

Mikala Kirby had 20 points to lead Desert Oasis.

Western 43, Pahrump Valley 30 — At Pahrump, Destiny Gonzalez scored 15 points to help the Warriors roll past the Trojans.

Guadalupe Herrera added 12 points, and Capricia Pierce supplied nine points for Western.

Alyssa Murphy led Pahrump with 12 points.

Boulder City 54, Chaparral 24 — At Boulder City, Whitney Barlow scored 16 points to help the Eagles to an easy win over the Cowboys.

Alyssa Ybarra scored 10 points, and Samantha Hanson and Jana Williams each added eight points for Boulder City.

Marcia Hawkins had eight points for Chaparral.

Tech 39, Moapa Valley 27 — At Tech, Haylee Holsclaw had nine points and 11 rebounds, and Clarissa Szluha provided nine points and five assists as the Roadrunners beat the Pirates.

Lidia Wossen added eight points for Tech, which led only 21-20 at halftime.

Virgin Valley 51, Desert Pines 31 — At Desert Pines, Abbie Barnard scored 17 points to help the Bulldogs cruise past the Jaguars.

Kourtney Metzger added 16 points for Virgin Valley, which finished the game on a 21-6 run.

Chrystian Myles led Desert Pines with 22 points.

Faith Lutheran 49, Mojave 17 — At Mojave, Alex Wright scored 13 points to help the Crusaders rout the Rattlers.

Haley Vinson added nine points for Faith Lutheran, which led 13-2 at the end of the first quarter.

Cheyenne Tyars and Rayena Rael scored four points apiece for Mojave.

Mountain View 43, Lake Mead 31 — At Lake Mead, Rose Adkins scored all 10 of her points in the third quarter to lead the Saints past the Eagles.

Kiley Murphy had 14 points for Mountain View, which broke it open with an 18-3 third-quarter run.

Savannah Schmidt led Lake Mead with 20 points.

Calvary Chapel 45, Laughlin 22 — At Laughlin, Phallen Nelson scored 11 points to help the Lions defeat the Cougars.

Malia Lee added 10 points for Calvary Chapel, which outscored Laughlin 31-12 in the second half.

Cassie Beggs led Laughlin with 12 points.

Agassi Prep 43, The Meadows 38 — At Agassi Prep, Jada Smith scored 16 points to help the Stars hold off the Mustangs.

Mariah Graves had 13 points, and London Ward pulled down 15 rebounds for Agassi Prep.

Bailey Gosse scored 11 points and Anjali Daulat 10 for The Meadows.
