GIRLS BASKETBALL: Ethridge, Bulldogs rally to beat Patriots

Justice Ethridge scored 28 points Tuesday to help Centennial’s girls basketball team down visiting Liberty, 59-53.

Pam Wilmore and Jayden Eggleston added seven points each for the Bulldogs, who trailed 41-40 after three quarters.

Paris Strawther scored 21 points, and Kealy Brown added 16 points for the Patriots, who also got 10 points from Nancy Caballero.

Rancho 56, Silverado 48 — At Rancho, LaKissa Martin finished with 23 points and seven rebounds, and the Rams rallied to beat the Skyhawks.

Rancho trailed by as many as 18 points in the third quarter, but used a 26-10 run in the fourth quarter to pull away. Martin had 10 points in the fourth.

Jada Wilson had nine points and seven rebounds for Rancho, and teammate Maureen Macato added nine points.

Deja Siaki led Silverado with 17 points. Monet Salazar notched 15 points, and Rachel Tretina scored 10 for the Skyhawks.

Durango 47, Desert Oasis 42 — At Desert Oasis, Jazmin Chavez scored 17 points, and Aylin Ponce added 10 points as the Trailblazers held off the Diamondbacks.

Mikala Kirby had 13 points, and Ashlynn Sharp and KePatriot Simpson each scored 11 for Desert Oasis.

Shadow Ridge 52, Eldorado 47 — At Eldorado, Assana King scored 14 points to lead the Mustangs by the Sundevils.

Deasia Walker poured in 32 points for Eldorado.

Cimarron-Memorial 37, Legacy 33 — At Cimarron, Ashli Tyus supplied nine points, eight assists and five steals, including a steal with less than 10 seconds left to seal a win for the Spartans over the Longhorns.

Zaquae Downton had six points and 10 rebounds for Cimarron, which overcame a 28-25 deficit heading into the fourth quarter.

Dani Livingston scored 13 points to lead Legacy.

Green Valley 55, Las Vegas 39 — At Green Valley, Ellee Barton had 17 points and six rebounds, and Yamilei Rodriguez added 14 points and nine rebounds as the Gators downed the Wildcats.

Gwen Garcia added 11 points and four assists for Green Valley, which led 32-13 at halftime.

Bianca Matlock led Las Vegas with 14 points.

Arbor View 69, Palo Verde 43 — At Palo Verde, Ariona Gill scored 18 points, and Janae Strode had 17 points to lead the Aggies to victory over the Panthers.

Caroline Rivera added 10 points for Arbor View.

Paulina Silcox scored 18 points, and Marcie Goldberg had 10 points to lead Palo Verde.

Spring Valley 66, Chaparral 45 — At Spring Valley, Essence Booker had 28 points, nine rebounds, six steals and five assists to lift the Grizzlies by the Cowboys.

Kayla Harris added 18 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for Spring Valley, which also got 18 rebounds from Alana Walker.

Taij Criss-Felton had 14 points, and Alexis Vanstory scored 11 for Chaparral, which trailed 39-24 at halftime.

Canyon Springs 66, Basic 46 — At Basic, Alexia Thrower scored 19 points, and LaKiya Yarber added 17 points to help the Pioneers down the Wolves.

Dre’una Edwards supplied 13 points for Canyon Springs.

Jayla Brown scored 26 points to lead Basic.

Bishop Gorman 74, Faith Lutheran 44 — At Gorman, Raychel Stanley poured in 20 points as the Gaels routed the Crusaders.

Alaysia Robinson added 14 points for Gorman, which got 13 points apiece from Megan Jacobs and Madison Washington.

Morgan Hill scored 10 points to lead Faith Lutheran.

Coronado 76, Bonanza 29 — At Coronado, Karlie Thorn led a balanced attack with 14 points as the Cougars routed the Bengals.

Samantha Green added 12 points, and Payton Caci scored 11 for Coronado, which got 10 points from Dajah Washington.

Alyssa Powers led Bonanza with 12 points.

Foothill 66, Valley 25 — At Foothill, Taylor Turney scored 12 points, and the Falcons built a 50-6 halftime lead on their way to a win over the Vikings.

Trinity Betoney added 10 points for Foothill.

Hannah Geberyesus led Valley with 15 points.

Moapa Valley 48, Mountain View 23 — At Mountain View, DaniElle Russo had nine points, and all 11 players for the Pirates scored in a victory over the Saints.

Kyla Shumway added eight points for Moapa Valley.

Tayah De’Bouck led Mountain View with 11 points.

Agassi Prep 67, Lake Mead 28 — At Agassi Prep, the Stars rolled past the Eagles.

Sandy Valley 37, Baker (Calif.) 33 — At Sandy Valley, the Sidewinders edged the Braves.
