GIRLS BASKETBALL: Bolden’s big fourth quarter leads Gaels to win

Sandria Bolden had 12 of her 18 points, including three of her five 3-pointers, in the fourth quarter Monday to help Bishop Gorman’s girls basketball team to a 60-50 win over Mira Costa (Calif.) in the So Cal Holiday Prep Classic in San Diego.

Maddison Washington had 20 points, and Raychel Stanley added 15 points for the Gaels, who trailed 42-40 entering the fourth quarter.

Keilani Ikehara had 14 points to lead Mira Costa.

Sierra Vista 46, Buena Park (Calif.) 16 — At Anaheim, Calif., Kennedy Nieves scored 11 points to lead the Mountain Lions past the Coyotes in the Lady Rebel Holiday Classic.

Kimayah Love had seven points for Sierra Vista, which led 23-2 at the half.

Canyon (Calif.) 56, Legacy 36 — At Los Angeles, Canyon topped the Longhorns in the West Coast Festival.

Estella Rodriguez had 10 points, four steals and three assists for Legacy.

Murrieta Valley (Calif.) 50, Boulder City 31 — At Murrieta, Calif., Alex Morrison and Ariana Hernandez each had 16 points to lead the Nighthawks over the Eagles in the Nighthawk Classic.

Whitney Barlow had 12 points to lead Boulder City.
