Top players: G Larice Harper (Sr.), F Bria Buchanan (Jr.)

Outlook: The Desert Shields return only three players from last year’s playoff team.

“Cheyenne will have a new look with a young and energetic team,” Cummings said. “With only three returners, Cheyenne will look for its defense to be a key aspect.

“We expect Larice Harper to play a tremendous role in our success as a playoff contender this season.”
