Outlook: A new start, a new look, but hopefully similar results for the Desert Shields, who have a new coach and no holdovers from the squad that won the Sunset League title last year.
Slayton, a 6-foot, 1-inch transfer from Valley, gives Cheyenne a presence inside.
“Our mission this year is to play the game the right way — sound fundamentals, defense, and
Rebounding,” Lott said.
