VEGAS INVITATIONAL: Jordan helps Bonanza boys past Pahranagat Valley

Davian Jordan led three double-figure scorers with 22 points Saturday to help Bonanza's boys basketball team to a 62-50 win over Pahranagat Valley in a first-round bracket game of the Vegas Invitational at Mountain View.

Jamal Logan had 16 points, and Garnet Walters scored 10 for Bonanza, which led 31-22 at halftime.

Shawn Wadsworth led Pahranagat Valley with 14 points. Culen Highbe had 11 points, and Jacob Roemer added 10 points for the Panthers.

Mountain View 75, Walden Grove (Ariz.) 65 — Tevin Gray went 12-for-12 from the free-throw line and had 27 points as the Saints downed the Red Wolves in a first-round bracket game.

Terrence Brooks added 25 points, and Tyrell Brooks scored 14 for Mountain View, which was 22 of 25 from the line. The Saints, who led just 64-62 with 2:12 to go, made 15 of 16 free throws in the fourth quarter.

Connor Verdugo led Walden Grove with 20 points. Anthony Saunders had 11 points, and Sebastian Sandoval scored 10 for the Red Wolves.

Ocean View (Calif.) 91, Mountain View 60 Christian Anderson scored 18 of his 30 points in the first half, and the Seahawks grabbed a 49-35 halftime lead en route to a win over the Saints in a second-round bracket game.

Zamir Kelly had 16 points, and Christian Roberts added 13 points for Ocean View, which used an 11-0 run to start the third quarter to pull away.

Terrence Brooks led Mountain View with 16 points. Gray had 11 points, and Bernard Williams scored 10 for the Saints.

Spring Mountain 55, Buckley (Calif.) 42 — Guy Whitley hit four 3-pointers and finished with 21 points to power the Golden Eagles by the Griffins in a first-round bracket game.

D'Quan Porchia contributed 10 points for Spring Mountain, which led 23-21 at halftime before outscoring Buckley 21-11 in the third quarter.

Kanoa Johnson had 12 points, and Nish Muthusamy scored 11 for Buckley.
