Valley boys overcome early deficit, down Eagles

Zach Nichols scored 17 points Saturday as Valley's boys basketball team rallied from an early deficit to defeat visiting Boulder City, 52-44.

Oscar Burns added nine points for the Vikings, who trailed 15-5 early and 23-22 at the half before using a 13-5 third-quarter run to take control. Valley made 25 of 32 free throws.

Quentin Turner had nine points, and Peyton Koopman, Austin Wishard and Zach Murphy each added eight points for the Eagles, who made five 3-pointers in the first half.
