ROUNDUP: Williams’ final-second free throw lifts Mountain Lion boys past Diamondbacks

Sean Williams hit a free throw with 0.4 seconds remaining Monday to help Sierra Vista’s boys basketball team rally for a 55-54 win at Desert Oasis.

Nino Flores scored 17 points to lead the Mountain Lions, who trailed 47-43 after three quarters. Isaac Thibodeaux added 14 points, and Travele Wiliams scored 10 for Sierra Vista.

Alex Trillo scored 14 points to lead Desert Oasis, which got 13 points from Anthony Lianzo.

Canyon Springs 72, Desert Pines 70 — At Canyon Springs, Nick Scott had a rebound and a game-winning layup with seven seconds remaining to lift the Pioneers past the Jaguars.

Scott finished with 18 points, and teammate Gerad Davis led Canyon Springs with 20 points. Shaquille Carr added 16 points, and Ladarell Mongkholtham scored 11 for the Pioneers.

Jesse Martin scored 17 points to lead Desert Pines, which held a 38-33 advantage at halftime.

Julian Jacobs added 14 points, and Najee McIver scored 12 points for the Jaguars, who got 10 points from Thomas Hooper.

Shadow Ridge 66, Cheyenne 60 — At Shadow Ridge, Nick Flowers tallied nine of his 23 points in overtime to lift the Mustangs past the Desert Shields.

Flowers was 7-of-8 from the free-throw line in the extra period for the Mustangs, who made 11-of-12 free throws in overtime.

Will Martin had 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Malcolm Davis grabbed 12 rebounds for Shadow Ridge.

Cheyenne’s Khalid Banks had 22 points, including a 3-pointer with two seconds left in regulation to force overtime.

Chaparral 61, Sunrise Mountain 53 — At Chaparral, Kamron Alexander had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Cowboys past the Miners.

Kevin Morgan had 14 points, nine assists and three steals, and Patrick Savoy added 14 points for Chaparral.

Jovon Kirtley had 16 points to lead the Miners. Fharhaad Zinnamon had 12 points, and Stephon Nathan scored 10 points for Sunrise Mountain. 

Valley 83, Rancho 59 — At Valley, Khafre Roberts scored 12, and teammate Eric Burrell scored 11 as the Vikings nipped the Rams.

Chris Swanson and Caleb Carter each added 10 points for Valley, which led 49-17 at the half.

Ciaran Subira led Rancho with 15 points, and R’Mond Hill added 13 points.

Las Vegas 99, Eldorado 62 — At Eldorado, Juwan Major and Traven Yancey each scored 20 points to lead six double-figure scorers as the Wildcats blitzed the Sundevils.

Phil Dunigan had 15 points for Las Vegas. Olynsso Pratt scored 14 points, Aziz Leeks had 12 points, and Hasaan Henderson added 11 points for the Wildcats.

D.J. Billingsley scored 19 points for the Sundevils. Da’Quon Thrower had 13 points, and Jayveon Brown had 11 points for Eldorado.

Bonanza 70, Western 59 — At Western, Ashton Howard scored 19 points to lead the Bengals to a victory over the Warriors.

Alex Arias added 12 points for Bonanza, which led 33-24 at halftime.

Nate Johnson had 21 points, and Samuel Jamerson scored 16 points to pace Western.

Durango 74, Pahrump Valley 41 — At Durango, Tyler Watts had 21 points and six steals as the Trailblazers routed the Trojans.

Dartangan Rollins had 14 points, 11 rebounds and seven steals, and Marcus Berkley added 10 points for Durango.

Dalton Beighley led Pahrump with 16 points, and teammate Bret Kunzi scored 12.

Bishop Gorman 93, Spring Valley 59 — At Spring Valley, Shabazz Muhammad scored 25 points to lead the Gaels past the Grizzlies.

Rosco Allen had 18 points, and Rashad Muhammad added 14 points for Gorman, which stormed back after falling behind 18-15 in the first quarter.

Rahfe’l King scored 20 points to lead Spring Valley, which hit 10 3-pointers. Teammate Shawn Feltenberger added 14 points.

Centennial 70, Faith Lutheran 48— At Centennial, Evan Martin had 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Bulldogs downed the Crusaders.

Marcus Allen added 14 points for Centennial, which hit seven 3-pointers in the first quarter. Neiman Lee had 13 points for Centennial.

Sam Stevens scored 14 points to lead Faith Lutheran.

Legacy 87, Mojave 63 — At Legacy, Chris Cook had 18 points and nine rebounds, and the Longhorns used a 14-0 run to open the third quarter to pull away from the Rattlers.

Zach Lane scored 16 points, and Cardon Harris had 15 points for Legacy. Donovan Gray added 10 points for the Longhorns.

Lorenzo Guerrero scored 14 points, and Bryant Lewis had 13 points to lead Mojave, which got 11 points from Malik Abbott and 10 points from Justin Smith.

Clark 72, Virgin Valley 42 — At Clark, Kentrell Washington scored 15 points to lead the Chargers in a rout of the Bulldogs.

Kenny Daniels and Diontae Jones each scored 10 points for Clark.

Dee Bowler led Virgin Valley with 10 points. 

Moapa Valley 53, Tech 51 — At Overton, Sean McConnell scored 12 points, including the game-winning layup with 30 seconds to play, to give the Pirates the victory over the Roadrunners.

Dakota Watters scored 12 points, and Kasen Hughes added 10 points for Moapa Valley.

Josh West scored 14 points, and Bryan Catenza had 13 points to lead Tech.
