ROUNDUP: Walker nails seven 3-pointers to lead Lynx boys past Panthers

Dantley Walker hit seven 3-pointers and scored 41 points Tuesday as Lincoln County’s boys basketball team earned an 83-73 home win over rival Pahranagat Valley.

Chandler Katschke added 19 points and 16 rebounds, and Ryan Rippetoe scored 11 for the Lynx, who also got 10 assists from Walker.

Cody Hosier led Pahranagat Valley with 29 points. Tyler Higbee scored 20 for the Panthers.

Needles 88, Calvary Chapel 39 — At Needles, Michael Hills scored 20 points to help the Mustangs roll the Lions.

Aaron Burns added 16 points, John Ochoa supplied 15 points, and Lewis Larrabee scored 13 for Needles, which led 39-11 after the first quarter.

C.J. Castro led Calvary Chapel with 14 points.

Beatty 58, Adelson School 38 — At Beatty, Ivan Maldonado and Justin Dunlap each scored 14 points to lead the Hornets past the Lions.

Anthony Turner added 10 points for Beatty.

Gabriel Bornstein led Adelson with 16 points.

Spring Mountain 52, Trinity 17 — At Saville Middle School, Devante Rash had eight points to help the Golden Eagles rout the Thunder.

Cory Hansbrough, Shaquon Jones, Jamar Smith and Maurice Williams each added six points for Spring Mountain, which had 11 players score.

GIRLS

Needles 51, Calvary Chapel 39 — At Needles, Gena Chavira scored 21 points to help the Mustangs cruise past the Lions.

Abby Chandler added 10 points for Needles, which outscored Calvary Chapel 31-21 in the second half.

Marissa Bonnefin led the Lions with 10 points.

Mountain View 53, The Meadows 17 — At The Meadows, A’Riane Holliday had 15 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead the Saints in a rout of the Mustangs.

Briana Marruffo added 10 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and five steals for Mountain View, which led 28-7 at halftime.

Claudia Close led The Meadows with eight points, and Allie Bronstein pulled down eight rebounds for the Mustangs.
