ROUNDUP: Thrower, Sundevil boys upset Vikings

Eldorado’s Da’Quon Thrower poured in 33 points, and the Sundevils used a 21-12 run in the second quarter to outlast host Valley 76-71 on Friday.

Markeith Floyd added 24 points for Eldorado.

Ryan Johnson had 22 points to pace Valley, which got 11 points from Keanu Peters and 10 points from Chris Swanson.

Clark 70, Sierra Vista 66 — At Sierra Vista, Sir Washington scored 23 points to help the Chargers hold off the Mountain Lions.

Diontae Jones added 16 points, and Kentrell Washington scored 13 for Clark.

Sean Williams hit four 3-pointers and scored 19 to lead Sierra Vista, which knocked down 10 3-pointers.

Wesley Rouse added 16 points for the Mountain Lions.

Cimarron-Memorial 63, Faith Lutheran 54 — At Cimarron, Erik Brewer had 33 points and nine rebounds to lift the Spartans past the Crusaders.

Tyler Willinsky supplied 10 points and 10 rebounds for Cimarron, which made 22 of 30 free throws.

D’Khari Hicks made 12 of 13 free throws en route to 25 points for Faith Lutheran, and Sam Stevens added 20 points for the Crusaders.

Arbor View 66, Mojave 59 — At Mojave, Blake Claxton scored 23 points to lead the Aggies past the Rattlers.

Justin Burks added 17 points for Arbor View, which converted on 26 of 40 free throws.

Justin Smith and Deon Walters each had 14 points for Mojave.

Las Vegas 91, Rancho 75 — At Rancho, Phil Dunigan scored 23 points to lift the Wildcats past the Rams.

Olynsso Pratt added 16 points for Las Vegas, which led 28-13 after the first quarter.

Ciaran Subira scored 28 points to lead Rancho, which fell short with a late rally. Teammate Javaoune Robinson added seven points and 18 rebounds.

Spring Valley 84, Desert Oasis 58 — At Spring Valley, Rahfe’l King had 21 points and seven assists, and Shannon Nolan scored 22 points as the Grizzlies cruised past the Diamondbacks.

DeShaun Nowlin added 13 points and Ryan Vozzola scored 12 for Spring Valley.

Juliano Rosario and Tailer Bowen each scored 16 points to lead Desert Oasis, and Noah Jefferson added 13 points.

Bishop Gorman 88, Bonanza 56 — At Gorman, Rosco Allen had 17 points to help the Gaels roll past the Bengals.

Demetris Morant scored 15 points to help Gorman, and teammate Ben Carter added six points, seven assists and six rebounds.

Ashton Howard scored 14 points to lead Bonanza.

Durango 75, Western 56 — At Durango, Joe Tuss had 31 points to lead the Trailblazers past the Warriors.

Tre’Vonn Wells and Chris Mellor scored 14 each for Durango.

Nathan Johnson scored 20 points to lead Western, and Samuel Jamerson added 15 points.

Canyon Springs 63, Chaparral 45 — At Canyon Springs, Gerad Davis scored 25 points, and the Pioneers outscored the Cowboys 43-25 in the second half to earn the win.

Chris Nelson, Darrell McCall, and Kashion Tucker each added 10 points for Canyon Springs.

Kamron Alexander had 14 points for Chaparral, which got 11 points from Tyree McNeal.

Legacy 63, Shadow Ridge 50 — At Legacy, Cardon Harris had 16 points, and Zach Lane supplied 15 points to help the Longhorns fend off the Mustangs.

Donovon Gray added 11 points for Legacy, which used an 18-9 first quarter to take control.

Terrell Bowden led Shadow Ridge with 15 points, and teammate Malcolm Davis added 11 points.

Green Valley 87, Liberty 53 — At Liberty, Devan Kohn had 19 points, and Durell McDonald scored 18 as the Gators blew past the Patriots.

Tyler Newman scored 13 for Liberty, and teammate Melvin Rushing added 10 points.

Cheyenne 68, Boulder City 56 — At Boulder City, Khalid Banks scored 15 points, and Bryan Lewis had 14 points and 11 rebounds to help lead the Desert Shields to victory over the Eagles.

Jamal Peterson added 13 points, and Gary Stewart contributed eight points and nine rebounds.

Austin Morgan had 15 points, and Kaleb Bailey scored 14 for Boulder City.

Pahrump Valley 55, Mountain View 41 — At Mountain View, Cavasio Edwards had 17 points, and Dalton Beighley scored 15 to lead the Trojans by the Saints.

Bret Kunzi added 10 points for Pahrump.

Matt Larson paced Mountain View with 12 points.

Moapa Valley 48, Virgin Valley 45 — At Mesquite, Kasen Hughes made two free throws with 18 seconds left to give the Pirates a 47-45 lead en route to a win over the Bulldogs.

Dakota Watters scored 13 points for Moapa Valley, which outscored Virgin Valley 22-10 in the fourth quarter.

Dee Bowler had 13 points and Nolan Tanner scored 11 for Virgin Valley, which missed a potential tying 3-pointer as time expired.

The Meadows 51, Lake Mead 39 — At Lake Mead, Garrett Gosse scored 15 points to help the Mustangs down the Eagles.

Max Newman added 11 points for The Meadows, which jumped to a 17-11 first-quarter lead.

Justin Yamzon scored 27 points to lead Lake Mead.

Needles 86, Lincoln County 72 — At Needles, Aaron Burns had 24 points and 10 rebounds as the Mustangs outlasted the Lynx.

Michael Hills had 17 points, and John Ochoa added 13 points for Needles.

Chandler Katschke scored 23 points, Ryan Rippetoe supplied 20 points, and Dakota Cluff finished with 16 points for Lincoln County.

Agassi Prep 89, Calvary Chapel 42 — At Agassi Prep, Kalinn Jackson had 19 points and eight rebounds as the Stars routed the Lions.

Branti Baldwin added 17 points for Agassi Prep, and David Bailey and Darryonne Hatcher each scored 10 for the Stars.

Terrell Kemp had eight assists for Agassi Prep, and teammate Darryl Green notched four steals.

Pahranagat Valley 52, Tonopah 20 — At Alamo, Tyler Higbee scored 16 points to help the Panthers rout the Muckers.

Austin Poulsen scored 11 points for Pahranagat, which led 27-2 after one quarter.

Colten Vessels led Tonopah with six points.
