ROUNDUP: Sierra Vista tops Desert Oasis in boys basketball

Sierra Vista’s boys basketball team sprinted to a 19-3 lead after one quarter on the way to a 54-38 road win over Desert Oasis on Saturday.

Quinten Chow had 10 points and eight steals to lead the Mountain Lions.

Amir Garrett added 11 points and Dallin Molina 10 for Sierra Vista.

Cameron Jefferson led the Diamondbacks with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Durango 77, Pahrump Valley 44 — At Durango, Marcus Falley had 31 points, seven assists, four blocks and four steals to lead the Trailblazers to the rout.

Durango outscored the Trojans 47-14 in the second half, including a 30-7 margin in the third quarter.

Dario Jokic hit 4 of 6 3-pointers on his way to 15 points for the Trailblazers. Donovan Williams contributed 11 points and nine rebounds for Durango.

Alex Anderson scored 13 points and Marvin Weekly 12 for Pahrump Valley.

Mountain View 70, West Wendover 66 — At Mountain View, Justyn Anderson had 27 points, eight assists and four steals to help the Saints hold off the Wolverines.

Raymond Velarde added 22 points and Eddie Conover eight rebounds for Mountain View.

West Wendover’s Brandon Hoston led all scorers with 31 points. Hoston hit five 3-pointers and was 12-for-12 from the free-throw line.

Needles 78, Calvary Chapel 54 — At Needles, Calif., Stevie Kidd had 24 points, 11 rebounds and five steals to lead the Mustangs over the Lions.

Darra Russell added 16 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for Needles, which outscored Calvary Chapel 27-4 in the second quarter to take a 45-23 halftime lead.

Anthony Ramos had 11 points and seven rebounds and Aaron Burns 10 points and nine rebounds for the Mustangs.

Dario Rahming scored 26 points for Calvary Chapel.

Henderson International 55, Trinity 32 — At Henderson International, Rob Sampson had 18 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Wolverines to the rout.

Clay Tormey added 14 points and Danny Moerman 13 for Henderson International, which held Trinity to four points in the first quarter and five in the third.

Budweiser Hawkins paced the Thunder with 22 points.

Beatty 60, Tonopah 44 — At Beatty, Anthony Regalado and Joe Serrano each scored 16 points to lead the Hornets over the Muckers.

Ramiro Hernandez added 12 points for Beatty, which led 16-5 after one quarter.

Lincoln County 92, White Pine 69 — At Panaca, Dantley Walker poured in 30 points to lead the Lynx to the win.

Eric Rippetoe added 13 points and Jason Wheatley 10 for Lincoln County.

Michael Johnson scored 20 points and Peter Holloway 14 for the Bobcats.

Round Mountain 43, Indian Springs 28 — At Round Mountain, Clint Wilson scored 16 points and had seven rebounds and six steals to lead the Knights back from a 23-17 halftime deficit.

Round Mountain used a 13-1 burst in the third quarter and a 13-4 fourth-quarter run to seal the win.

J.D. Swafford added 10 points and Will Sweeney 14 rebounds for the Knights.
