ROUNDUP: Sanico, Henderson power late spurt as Wildcats down Gators

George Sanico and Hasaan Henderson each scored 20 points, and Las Vegas High’s boys basketball team used a 35-17 fourth-quarter run to rally for an 89-75 victory Tuesday over visiting Green Valley.

Phil Dunigan had 14 points, and O’Lynsso Pratt added 12 points for Las Vegas, which sank eight 3-pointers.

Keiannte Wilkins had 21 points, and Austin Tebbs scored 15 points to lead Green Valley.

Valley 85, Coronado 78 — At Valley, Christian Kessee had 30 points, six assists and five rebounds to lead the Vikings past the Cougars.

Jarrett Coleman added 21 points, and Royce Finley supplied nine points and 10 rebounds for the Vikings, which had a 41-25 advantage in rebounds.

Austin Nelson scored 16 points, Jared Culbert added 14 , and Kyle Johnson contributed 12 for Coronado.

Canyon Springs 101, Liberty 58 — At Canyon Springs, Jared Brandon had 18 points, five rebounds and four steals to lead five players in double figures as the Pioneers cruised past the Patriots.

Chris Willis had 12 points, seven rebounds and four steals for the Pioneers. Michael Thompson scored 17 points, Trey Evans added 16 and Marquan Webster contributed 15 for Canyon Springs, which bolted to a 49-26 halftime lead.

Aaron Navitsky had 10 points for Liberty.

Western 73, Arbor View 66 — At Arbor View, Sir Washington scored 27 points to help the Warriors beat the Aggies.

Kentrell Washington and Kenyon Washington each added 15 points for Western.

DeAndre Bright led Arbor View with 13 points. Chase Ealy scored 12 points, Blake Claxton had 11, and DeAndrea Johnson supplied 10 for the Aggies.

Del Sol 70, Boulder City 54 — At Del Sol, David Day scored 25 points to help the Dragons down the Eagles.

Chris Marshall added 10 points for Del Sol.

Nate Hafen led Boulder City with 20 points.

Foothill 60, Desert Pines 40 — At Desert Pines, Greg Cox had 20 points to lift the Falcons past the Jaguars.

Darren Buckles added 14 points for Foothill, which led 33-23 at the half and pulled away.

Najee McIver led Desert Pines with 15 points.

Silverado 63, Moapa Valley 54 — At Silverado, David Wade had 24 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead the Skyhawks past the Pirates.

Ruben Jackson added 13 points, five rebounds and three steals for Silverado.

Hayden Cooper had 29 points to lead Moapa Valley.

Virgin Valley 58, Tech 29 — At Tech, Humberto Urias and Cameron Jensen each scored 12 points as the Bulldogs cruised to an easy win over the Roadrunners.

Nolan Tanner and Tanner Tichenor added 11 points each for Virgin Valley, which led 28-10 at halftime.

Michael Johnson led Tech with 14 points.

Pahranagat Valley 60, Mountain View 55 — At Alamo, Cody Hosier led four double-figure scorers with 15 points as the Panthers downed the Saints.

Derek Hansen scored 14 points, Kale Leavitt added 12 points, and Kade Wadsworth chipped in 10 points for Pahranagat, which outscored Mountain View 23-14 in the third quarter.

Justyn Anderson paced Mountain View with 33 points.

Indian Springs 63, The Meadows JV 56 — At The Meadows, Chasen Malden scored 37 points as the Thunderbirds downed the Mustangs’ junior varsity squad.

Brock Roadhouse added 14 points and 13 rebounds for Indian Springs.

Adelson School 54, Spring Mountain 52 — At Adelson, Ross Behrin had 17 points and 12 rebounds to help the Lions hold off the Eagles.

Matthew Hampson scored 12 points, and Gabi Bornstein supplied seven points and 15 rebounds for the Lions.

Spring Mountain’s Devante Rash scored 27 points. Maurice Williams and Matthew Trapp each added 10 points for the Eagles.
