Jonathan Tendale poured in a game-high 32 points as Chaparral’s boys basketball team held on for a 64-57 road win over Boulder City on Thursday night.
Cairyn Bray scored nine points, and teammate Tre Roberts added eight points for the Cowboys, who knocked down six 3-pointers.
Derrick Thomas had 12 points, Karson Bailey notched 11 points, and Matt Morton scored 10 for Boulder City.
Bishop Gorman 85, Sierra Vista 73 — At Sierra Vista, Will McClendon led three double-figure scorers with 20 points in the Gaels’ victory over the Mountain Lions.
Isaiah Cottrell added 19 points, and Noah Taitz scored 16 for Gorman. Jamal Bey and Zim Agu each scored nine for the Gaels, who outscored Sierra Vista 21-10 in the third quarter to take a 63-46 lead.
Maka Ellis led Sierra Vista with 27 points. Jalen McFadden (18 points) and David Howard (12 points) also contributed for the Mountain Lions.
Canyon Springs 107, Rancho 74 — At Canyon Springs, Kevin Legardy poured in a game-high 41 points to lead the Pioneers to an easy win over the Rams.
De’Shawn Kepering scored 18 points, followed by Alexander Spaight (14), Kayvon Alexander (12), and Jorden Williams (11) for Canyon Springs, which made eight 3-pointers.
Devan Wright and James Brown each scored 22 points for Rancho.
Eldorado 65, Valley 55 — At Eldorado, Kemo Bell led four double-figure scorers with 12 points, and the Sundevils used a third-quarter spurt to pull away from the Vikings.
Jonathan Thomas, Patrick Parkes and Dexter Davis each scored 11 points for Eldorado. Jordan Carter had nine points for Eldorado, which outscored Valley 22-10 in the third quarter to take a 46-31 lead.
Bryce Jones and Tommy Anderson each scored 12 for Valley.
Clark 91, Bonanza 51 — At Bonanza, James Bridges had 23 points to lead the Chargers past the Bengals.
Jalen Hill scored 21 points, and Trey Woodbury added 19 points for the Chargers, who outscored the Bengals 25-8 in the first quarter to take control of the game.
Chase Hafen scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Bengals.
Tech 59, Moapa Valley 47 — At Tech, Jurelle Orbino scored 17 points as the Roadrunners defeated the Pirates.
Zail Lewis added 16 points for Tech, which drained seven 3-pointers.
Nathaniel Thompson scored a game-high 22 points to lead Moapa Valley.
Del Sol 64, Virgin Valley 33 — At Mesquite, Anton Devonte Villarta scored 12 points as the Dragons defeated the Bulldogs.
Nati Asfaw added 11 points for Del Sol, which led 18-4 after one quarter.
Jayden Perkins led Virgin Valley with 10 points.
Word of Life 67, Somerset-Losee 61 — At Somerset-Losee, Cheikou Kouyate scored 23 points to lead the Eagles past the Lions.
Isaac Lopez scored 18 points, Jaiden Stuckey scored 14 points, and Jared House added 10 points for the Eagles, who outscored the Lions 23-11 in the second quarter to take control of the game.
Maxwell Lewis scored 36 points to lead the Lions.
Innovations International 69, SLAM Academy 59 — At SLAM Academy, Jordan Allison had 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Ambassadors past the Bulls.
Justin Evans also posted a triple-double for the Ambassadors with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
