Roundup: Jaden Hardy leads key Coronado win over Foothill

Jaden Hardy led all scorers with 34 points to power the Coronado boys basketball team to an 87-81 road victory over Foothill in a key Southeast League game.

Coronado can clinch the Southeast League title with a win at home against Liberty on Wednesday. If Foothill and Liberty both win Wednesday, the Falcons will win the league. Liberty can win the league with a victory over Coronado and a Foothill loss to Basic.

Tyrelle Hunt scored 26 points, and Tahj Comeaux added 14 points for the Cougars.

Jace Roquemore led the Falcons with 33 points. Marvin Coleman added 27 points, and Dylan Hushaw scored 15 points.

Western 62, Desert Pines 58 — At Western, Kizhonie Blunt led all scorers with 22 points as the Warriors came from behind to upset the Jaguars in overtime.

Western’s Ka’Mari Kelly scored 20 points, and teammate James Wade scored 11 points.

Darius Mitchell led Desert Pines with 15 points. Dayshawn Wiley scored 11 points, and Darnell Washington had 10 points for the Jaguars.

Liberty 67, Silverado 64 — At Liberty, Cameron Burist had 22 points as the Patriots edged the Skyhawks.

The Patriots trailed 48-45 entering the fourth quarter, but rallied late to take the lead.

Julian Strawther added 18 points, eight rebounds and four steals, and Jordan Holt had 13 points, six assists and four steals for Liberty.

Silverado’s Tevon Martin led all scorers with 27 points. Daryl Finley added 15 points, and Caden Farley scored 12 for the Skyhawks.

Sunrise Mountain 77, Mojave 72 — At Mojave, Dalvin Brown led the Miners with 24 points as they defeated the Rattlers in overtime.

Sunrise Mountain had 40 team fouls and Mojave had 27 team fouls. The teams combined for five technical fouls and 93 total free-throw attempts.

Sunrise Mountain’s Tyree Hayes and Stephen Adeyemi each scored 11 points, and Xavier Kyles scored 10 for the Miners.

Chris Jackson led all scorers with 28 points for the Rattlers. John Harper and Deshaun Smith each scored 12 points for Mojave.

Cimarron-Memorial 70, Shadow Ridge 64 — At Cimarron, Brian Washington had 17 points and 21 rebounds to lead the Spartans over the Mustangs.

George Tribble had 14 points for Cimarron. Karion Harrell had 11 points, and Brian Lang scored 10 for the Spartans.

Jordan Gray and Garin Mcfarlane each scored 16 for Shadow Ridge, and teammate Kion Thomas had 10 points.

Arbor View 63, Legacy 57 — At Legacy, Jarrod Burks had 24 points as the Aggies beat the Longhorns.

Comillion Smith added 14 points, and Larry Holmes scored 11 for Arbor View.

Cristian Pitts led Legacy with 19 points. D’Eric Marlowe (13 points), Charles White (12 points) and Tyrell Nolen (10 points) also scored in double figures for the Longhorns.

Faith Lutheran 78, Palo Verde 53 — At Palo Verde, Brevin Walter had 16 points, and Dalton Kincaid scored 15 to lead the Crusaders past the Panthers.

Elijah Kothe added 13 points, and Jaylen Fox scored 12 for Faith Lutheran, which outscored Palo Verde 30-13 in the second quarter.

Tieman Allen led the Panthers with 11 points.

Green Valley 61, Basic 48 — At Green Valley, Michael Jackson led all scorers with 16 points as the Gators defeated the Wolves.

J.J. Stanley scored 13 points for Green Valley.

Peter Nelson led Basic with 10 points.

Cheyenne 65, Pahrump Valley 38 — At Cheyenne, Ke’Shawn Hall, Alexis Santillan, and Hohsonie Laushal each scored 10 points to lead the Desert Shields over the Trojans.

Pahrump’s Antonio Fortin led all scorers with 18 points.

Lake Mead 34, Calvary Chapel 32 — At Calvary Chapel, Donte Bristol scored 13 points, and the Eagles rallied from a 17-14 halftime deficit to edge the Lions.

Kaiaokumulani Madela added 10 points for Lake Mead.

Calvary Chapel’s Elijah Martinez led all scorers with 17 points.

GV Christian 49, Laughlin 40 — At Laughlin, the Guardians used a 13-4 run to start the fourth quarter on their way to a win over the Cougars.
